The hotel is in an excellent location convenient to just about everything that we wanted to take in, from the beach (view of ocean) to the historic sites to dining. Loved it. The first person we encountered at the front desk was very brusk and rude. It doesn't cost any more to be courteous. I asked her if our room was ready at one point after the initial contact - and all she said was "Did you get a phone call?" Would it have been any more difficult to say ,"I'm sorry, we're working on it. We'll get back to you soon."? Also […] the room was much smaller than we were lead to believe. I had a one-night stay here with a friend on 6/2/12. The room was very spacious, bright and airy with a nice balcony. All of the rooms are oceanfront and the view is spectacular. There are plenty of shelves in the bedroom and bathroom to put all of your personal items and that is a plus. We had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Since we were there for such a short time, we did not use the pool or restaurants (Cape May is full of wonderful restaurants we wanted to visit). One thing: Hotels.com indicated breakfast was included but it was not. I was aware of the potential problem from other reviews. There are plenty of places for breakfast anyway and you to have the ability to make and have breakfast in your room and look at the beautiful ocean. I will come back here again. Aside from a small bathroom, the room was very comfortable, with an excellent view of the ocean. The hotel's location is also superb: near to the beach, restaurants, and a walk-around shopping area. We had the package allowing us free breakfasts, which couldn't have been better.. The room was comfortable and roomy enough for 3 for our girls' Cape May getaway. The view from our 5th floor balcony overlooked the ocean and the pool.
