"Needed to be renovated"
Was in the middle of a lobby renovation...they'd be well-advised to renovate the rooms as well. Not up to the Hampton standards I've had before. Staff was very nice and helpful...too bad the place is not up to their service levels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hamptom Inn close in South Bend IN"
I have stayed in several Hampton Inn Hotels but I have never been in one that was as nice. We used most of the areas of the hotel such as pool, fitness center, breakfast area, etc. I did not find one area that was not in great condition and very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. "Poor layout"
We reserved a suite for 4 adults. We were given room 103. It was VERY NOISY until after 11:30 PM- the first room next to the lobby and next to the elevator and next to the breakfast room. The room layout was ridiculous. If you open the pull out sofa sleeper, you can't walk from the bed to the bathroom. They kindly came and removed the desk and 2 chairs […] and moved the sofa sleeper to the other side of the room. Then we could get to the bathroom but couldn't open the refrigerator or get to the microwave or sink. Who on earth designed this room? Request to not have Room 103.
