"Good location close to Columbie River."
This motel was in a convient location for our trip between Florence OR and the Columbia River Gorge. There is also a very good coffee shop/diner across the parking lot and a Starbucks down the street. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised. We were not expecting much for the price we got on the room. The room was big, it was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Our only complaint would be that the bed was too firm. "Good value, far from downtown, older hotel, but friendly staff."
While the hotel seemed pretty old and kind of run down, the staff was friendly, beds were comfy, and was close to groceries, fast food, starbucks, etc. A little far from the freeway, but less than a 5 minute walk to the MAX public transit line. The TV was old and the selection was limited, some channels were even staticy. The hotel itself was dark […] and the building seemed old.
