    The hotel itself was nice--small and historic and close to pretty much everything we wanted to do. We went for our anniversary trip, expecting to have... some privacy, quiet and relaxation. They have a complementary shuttle that is supposed to run every 10 minutes, they said, or 20 minutes max. We waited 45 minutes for the shuttle and missed a dinner reservation. The front desk person was also the valet and concierge. They had 2 people working on a Saturday night. It just seemed unorganized. Also, we were put in a block of rooms that had been reserved for a wedding party, so there was shouting and doors slamming all night. Just make sure you know when you're going and where your room is.     The room was great & the staff went above our expectations. We had mentioned we were taking a mini-getaway (the first since our honeymoon) and the staff sent us a bottle of champagne. The shuttle service was great-they'll take you anywhere within 3 miles-perfect since the Arch, Union Station and Amtrack were all within range.     We had a very nice stay at the Omni Majestic. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful when we had questions. The bar pours a good, strong drink! The beds are large (we got a king) and very comfy. We opted to do our own on-street parking and our vehicle was ok all weekend. I had joined their loyalty program (which was […] free to sign-up), so we had free wi-fi and morning drinks delivered to our room. There were just a few things that were not great about the room. The bathroom (especially the toilet/shower area) are pretty small, but I do understand that the Omni Majestic is a historic hotel, so that can't be helped. The tvs were ok, but the reception was fairly poor. Maybe I'm spoiled by HD at my own home, but ugh! We were in town for an NFL game and the walk to the Edward Jones dome took only about 5 minutes, which was really nice. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would probably book a room here again the next time we are in town. Read more

    The hotel was very comfortable and in an amazing location. A few mere blocks from entertainment, food, the Arch and Busch stadium. It was incredibly convenient for a visit to the baseball stadium, and the staff was very helpful for the entire time we were staying. I will happily visit again.

The room was spacious, wonderfully decorated, comfortable and clean; the architecture of the place was beautiful; the restaurant was very nice (although we only dined there once, so as to sample the flavors of St. Louis); and the service, courtesy and friendliness of all staff […] was as good as I've ever experienced anywhere - they really made us feel that they were glad we were there. A particularly nice touch was the complimentary bottle of chilled Champagne in the room (I had mentioned that we were there to celebrate our first wedding anniversary).     The room was very nice, and the staff were very nice and helpful in every way. But beware of hidden charges. There was a charge of $9.95 per day for Internet service. We found that "refrigerator on request" means a one time charge of $20 to have a refrigerator delivered to the room. Valet parking is $25.00 per night; the alternative is park yourself […] in a lot that says "no overnight parking," or park in a meter spot where they start charging fees at 7:00 AM. Read more
