I was pleasantly surprised at the value! The price absolutely couldn't be beat and I'm sure it's because of the construction in the area. "Home away from home"
My husband recently threw me and our children out on the street. I got a room here while I awaited my plane tickets to return home (California). The rooms were great. My kids loved the breakfast. "Great Low Price Place to stay!"
I booked this room after reading reviews on Hotels.com about places to stay in this area. I picked this one based on price, reviews and that they are "pet friendly". While the room was smaller than expected it was clean and comfortable. We had traveled to Fort Worth to attend a funeral. My mother in law passed and my husband had been with her in Ft. […] Worth for a month....we needed a place close to the funeral home and a place to take a breath and clear our minds... We booked this room for 3 days... 2 of our sons and their wives were traveling up and when we told them the great price they also booked rooms in the same location. While you do get what you pay for....smaller rooms, moderate noise level, and yes a toilet that sings to you when you flush it .....it was much better than many I have stayed in... What really made this an enjoyable stay was the staff. I have read reviews where they say the staff is less than welcoming, these people went out of their way to please! They were very accommodating when our children made last minute decisions to stay there and made sure they had rooms close to us, very accommodating when we needed extra stuff -sewing kit at 11pm to fix hems and buttons, fresh coffee when they ran out and we desperately needed it, extra towels, etc. ... So again, if you are looking for luxury or a big room, pay the price to stay somewhere else. "Pleasantly Surprised"
When booking online you never know what you are going to get. While this hotel is just a Super 8, I had better service here than in Sheratons and Marriott. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This may be due more to the fact that this is Texas, but I have never felt this welcome at any California Hotel.
