The front desk associates are HORRIBLE!! They have no customer service at all, in fact when you happen to ask a question they give you a side of attitude. I work in Customer Service in another State and these people need new jobs!! I believe there was only one woman who greeted me when I walked out of the lobby one day and I was there a total of 4 days. […] The only reason I stayed at this hotel was for convenience ONLY. I won't be back, next time I will stay at a pricier hotel and get better service and a clean room with blankets that aren't hard and krusty from years of use! "Cheap stay"
For starters, I had read the reviews re: construction, so I expected that. My family member traveling with me smokes, so I requested a smoking room, I expected it to be less than desirable as well. However the floor and furniture was grossly stained and contained ALOT of burn holes. I did not see any bugs so I suffered through 2 nights at this hotel. […] The toilet stopped up which a maintenance man did come fix this. The very worst part was the large red stain on the underneath of the bedspread!! Really? Didnn't like this hotel. Beds uncomfortable. Location was poor due to heavy freeway construction. Next door to a Twin Peaks which may account for the drunks hanging out in the parking lot, drinking and partying from their trunks all night long. Hard to believe the hotel would allow this. "Depends"
If you're trying to save money on a trip and you're staying one night it's fine but the receptionist was rude, the room had stains everywhere on the sheets and lamp shades, the box spring was ripped and looked like it was slightly rotted, the shower leaked everywhere, but at least we didn't see any bugs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"too near highway construction"

"Not worth it!"
The hotel was out of everything Such as towels and linens. They did not even Have 2.00 worth of quarters for their own laundry facility. "I would not stay again."
When I arrived to check in the clerk at the front desk had a plate of food she was eating off, did'nt acknowledge me that i was standing at the counter until I said good afternoon. Once she responded to a text with her iphone she then looked over at me, sighed and asked if I had a reservation. "Barely acceptable"
"Free" computer in lobby more frustrating than usable, due to lack of any periodic "cleaning" of viruses. Free "breakfast" is a joke. One of the worst I've seen anywhere. Check in was OK Stayed 4 nights First 2 mornings there was only bread and cold cereal and orange juice. There was no waffles, biscuits and gravey, no apple juice, no rolls and no begals. "WON'T GO THERE AGAIN!"
Pluses - Many establishments for evening dining & entertainment nearby. No fast food nearby. Easy off/on to freeway. Minuses - So many things wrong in the room. 2 lamps broken; bath exhaust fan hanging by 1 loose screw and not working; bath door strike plate loose - couldn't shut the door; furniture heavily soiled and stained. "Not my best idea"

Filthy torn hallway carpet. If they add anymore caulk to the sink area it will fall off the wall. Can you actually have towels thinner than those donated to Charity? "super 8 bedford texas"
the room smelled horrible... it smelled so bad that i was gagging at first .... there was only one blanket that goes between the sheet and comforter ... there were suppose to be two with double beds... the TV was small.... remote did not work.... breakfast was horrible.... everything was frozen... used waffle batter from previous day was seperated... […] my daughter attempted to make a waffle 2 times then another guest lifted the lid and said that was disgusting.... told one of the front desk workers and she made a new batch.... the other front desk clerk was kind of rude.... night clerk was busy taking on the phone with friends or talking with friends at counter or on the internet.... room service came banging on the door at 8 to see if we were checking out... check out was at 11.... she came back 2 more times.... guess we over stayed our welcome on her clock by punch in time???? "Super 8 Bedford - You get what you pay for"
We had our family reunion in the area so most of the family stayed at this hotel. We got super low rates so we were really thrilled about that. The first thing we noticed once we checked in was that the hallways were terribly hot and considering it was 106 outside, it would have been nice for them to be cool. The rooms were also very hot so we had to […] turn on the air and go back downstairs while the rooms cooled. The biggest complaints that we got were that the room keys kept deactivating. One family had to move to a different room because they couldn't get the door to work no matter how many keys they tried (took hours for them to get back in). The hotel staff was great and very understanding of our needs and some of our rowdier children. I would recommend to someone who wouldn't be spending much time in the hotel. The fact that it didn't have a pool and that the breakfast left much to be desired is enough to ensure that we would not stay here again under similar circumstances.
