"Simple Hotel, Great Location"
Great location. Hotel and our room seemed a bit sparsely decorated when we were there, but all the staff were helpful and high quality. Huge continental breakfast each morning, wine and sherry each night.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fun in Charleston"
Nice hotel.... needs some updating but very enjoyable visit. Complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese are truly wonderful add ons. Rooms are very comfortable and staff is outstanding. Also very quiet and great location in the historic district on King Street just steps away from Market Street.Genuine Expedia guest review

"We'd Recommend"
We had a very pleasant two days in Charleston, staying at King's Courtyard and attending musical events. The hotel was very convenient to all venues in the old town, and the ambience was cozy and friendly. We felt a high degree of personal concern on the part of staff for our satisfaction. Lovely old furniture combined smoothly with modern conveniences. […] We will certainly return to this hotel if we visit Charleston again next year. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Prime location"
Had a wonderful time exploring Charleston and staying at a intimate inn in downtown Charleston that reminded me of some of the European small hotels I booked. The courtyard was charming and when renovations are complete I;m sure you will attain all "5's".Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We had a large room with two comfortable beds and a very nice bathroom. Even though it faced the main street, it was quiet and private.Genuine Expedia guest review
"King Court Inn - In the heart of Downtown CHS"
Nice Hotel... Very Homely and extremely close to all the great restaurants etc. Bed was a little soft for my liking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
very friendly staff, close to all ,parking next to hotel..glad we chose it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
1. Bathroom floors were extremely slippery; not sure if it was because of what was used to clean it with. 2. Not enough lighting in the room 3. Matresses seemed saggy 4. Room was small I would recommend to others only because it is ok to stay in for one night and because the location is excellent. We never did see any evening cheese with wine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location"
The hotel is in the best possible location for visiting Historic Charleston, particularly if your main focus is shopping. As is to be expected of a historic inn, the building and facilities are older, but certainly adequate. The housekeeping and waitstaff were great, but the front desk staff, although friendly, were either not particularly knowledgeable […] of restaurants, bars, or "things to do", or perhaps their lovely manners got in the way of their abilities to express any solid opinions. I would recommend this inn for its convenient location, but do not expect anyone there to help you plan your time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Kings Courtyard= Wonderful weekend"
Spend two nights recently. Loved this historic inn off King Street and less that a block from the Market. As this is a historic building dont expect the large open rooms that newer hotels provide, but do expect a comfortable bed, charm, and very friendly staff. My only complaint would be that whenever the AC unit turned on (several times per night), […] it made a loud mechanical sound that woke us each time. Still not enough of an issue to give it bad marks. Will stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good But Not Great"
The location can't be beat - right on King Street in the heart of Charleston - one block away from the market. And, while the hotel was quite authentic, the room could've been more comfortable. And the staff wasn't as responsive as I would've liked. Wanted a Diet Coke, vending machine was out, and was told that the delivery wasn't until two days later, […] but if I wanted one really badly I could walk to their other inn. (Huh?) And, kept waiting on a call back from staff about an issue, and I had to call them three times. More attention to updating the rooms, and to basic customer requests would take this "good" hotel to "great." Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"King's Courtyard Inn"
My husband and I stayed at the King's courtyard Inn for 3 nights. We normally stay in a hotel in Mt. Pleasant when we visit Charleston. Our regular hotel was booked so we decided to stay at a hotel in the historic district of Charleston. The room was very small, but quite comfortable. It is a very old Inn, so don't expect it to be perfect. I think the […] hotel had much character and if I chose to stay in the historic district of Charleston again, I would definitely stay here. Location was perfect!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to say...but food service was lacking."
This was a wonderful place to say, in the heart of downtown and in a beautiful building that mixed old world charm with modern amenities. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 was the subpar food service. We ate there for each of the three days we stayed (since someone else was picking up the tab) but otherwise I would have gone elsewhere […] after the first day. Waiters were extremely slow (even for the typically slower pace of the city) -- to the point where some customers were getting up and filling coffee cups themselves because the wait staff never came. The first day my partner's Eggs Benedict were cooked through, not runny as is the norm. We were also not offered any of the free items such as danishes or fruit that are served for hotel guests, even though were paying extra for our meals. On subsequent days we knew to ask for these items that the staff obliged, although the wait was as long as ever for coffee and food service. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Rekommenderas"
Mysigt hotell i äldre välhållen sydstatsstil, mycket centralt placerat i Charlestons historiska kvarter.
