When my family first drove to the Eagle Crest Resort, I thought, good grief it's miles out of town (it's not). Actually there are many excellent qualities to this resort. If you're into golf, you'll be in heaven as there are excellent golf courses with this resort plus other amenities such as five swimming pools, both indoor and out, hot tubs, an excellent […] restaurant (you have to go down a bit to get to it; it's not in the actual hotel) plus others. The hotel itself is older but has excellent linens, firm pillows, guest laundry, and very good customer service. My main gripe was the cleaning staff - not so good. I know for a fact the bed sheets were not changed (we were there for 5 nights) until I went to the front desk and requested them to be changed. I don't feel that I should have to do that in light of the fact we were there for several nights. I don't expect it to be done every day, but on the 3rd day, it should've been done. The towels are terrible - it reminds me of towels one gets at a Motel 6 or something cheaper. I would expect a better quality from a 'resort'. However, at the rate we paid, I feel we got a bargain even if it were a few miles outside of Redmond. I would definitely recommend it. Just be clear about the sheet changes! Read more

We were pleasantly surprised as we read some not so good reviews. The hotel has a beautiful lobby. Everyone was friendly and we were very comfortable in our room. We were told the rooms were updated about a year ago. It seemed as though it wasn't a complete job. Only a few complaints- toilet needs new seat, exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't begin to […] cut it, almost no water pressure in the shower. The Beds were very comfortable. We weren't staying to play so can only speak of the room & lobby. The room & lobby had a very cold feeling & didin't feel 'homey' at all. Large scale & small furniture. As a woman traveling with family, the fact that there was no outlet by the sink where you'd do your hair while others shower just doesn't fly. It was okay. Service was slow in the cafe and we were anxious to get going. Everyone very pleasant. Inexperienced gal at the front desk when we checked in and again we were in a hurry. Room was very nice and comfortable.

Room was overpriced and furnishings were hard to sit on let alone difficult to enjoy. Walls were very stark and bare of any pictures or paintings. By far the most we've ever paid for what we got. Room 202 sat above the air conditioner pumps and this room had an excellent view of them!!!!

GREAT LOCATION, I was there on a quick golf getaway and the location of Eagle Crest is perfect. Not only are there 2 great course's right there, but many more just minutes away. The room was well kept and clean. All the staff I came in contact with were friendly and professional.

We couldn't have asked for better walking trails, the parking close to our room and more than adequate, bed and room comfortable. The day we were there, there were more children than we would have preferred...in the pool, restaurant and everywhere on the property. I loved Eagle Crest resort. our room was very disappointing but the golf, biking, etc. was great. The room was on the first floor which was really a basement with windows facing a rock wall. Not at all a golf course view. Employees were fantastic at check in. Room sucked big time.

The room was very nice with a living room, mini kitchen and bedroom with bath. Bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed eating at the nearby coffee shop and deli. The room was nice and in good condition. It appeared that it had been updated in the recent past. What was disappointing was: 1. We paid for a breakfast each morning. The first day, the cafe was about half full. However, it took us almost an hour to get our food. When we got it, my wife's was cold and mine was so hot I had to wait for it to cool. the […] next morning we had an appointment and went to get breakfast. The Cafe was full and based on our expereince the previous morning, we decided not to risk it and went elsewhere. The tird morning was also busy. While there was a somewhat lengthy wiat, it was better than the first morning. 2. The resort advertises lots of amenities. However, we discovered that to rent bikes, it was about a mile away from the hotel. Similarly, the fitness center and the golf putting course were about a mile in the opposite direction so they really wen't that avialable to us. 3. although the room was clean and there is an outside balcony, there was only 1 chair in the room and none on the balcony. so, when we were in the rom, the only way to watch TV was by reclining on the bed. There was no way we could enjoy the evenings on the balcony as there was not place to sit. finally, the TV reception in the room was terrible. Read more

The hotel was ok. We ate ate the cafe in the morning and order multiple things to eat. I ordered oatmeal and it took over 30 mins. My son went up to the waitress and she said they burned the oatmeal. My whole family gave me alittle of the food to hold me over till I get my oatmeal. By the time it was done she said she would put it into a cup. aaaaso […] she did, there was no milk and no fruit as the the menu said. It was also a bit unsure how much our breakfest was going to cost. The web site says free breakfest, but there was a credit voucher. I recieved two of them My son went to the front desk and asked how much the vouchers were worth, he was told 25.00 a piece. So we ordered our food to how much we were told and when we go the bill, they needed another 14.00 dollars. The host said they just finished a 3 million dollar renovation. The building looks better than the last 20 years that I have gone there. The company needs to get water saving toliets, as I noticed that the toliet was made in 1989, these toliet use at least 3 gallons and my son had to call front desk for a plunger. Read more

This hotel was nice and very close to where we were visiting. I had just had knee surgery and needed handicap accessibility. I clicked on 1king with accessibility. I did not choose the 1 king. When we called to verify the evening of our check in they said hotels.com did not communicate that request. Luckily they hustled and found a proper room for us […] and bought us breakfast. We wanted someplace nile to stay for one night that was close to Sisters. This is a very nice resort with beautiful grounds. The hotel is very clean and the service is excellent. We will definitely be back and would like to stay longer and take advantage of the spa.

The hotel was nice but nothing extraordinary. There was no continental breakfast and only 1 item on the menu which was pricier than it should have been because it was not very good. The television/satellite TV was a pain to deal with. Hampton Inns or Comfort Suites are just as nice, better prices and nice breakfast. There were signs that there was a fitness center down the hall - but it didn't exist. We checked at the front desk and were told that the nearest one was actually a mile down the road. Also, I stayed there many years ago and the lobby used to be much nicer... now it seemed rather 'cold.' Staff was very frienndly and helpful.

The sign at the front desk upon arrival sums up the care and concern for customer service quite succinctly: "Wireless Internet not available until further notice." No alternative was offered, and it didn't appear there was any motivation to correct this problem sooner than later – implicit in this sign is: “Not our problem”. Check-in was a curiously […] long process that required 3 staff members -- none of whom exhibited the slightest urgency. The room we were assigned did not have the views or a balcony as clearly stated on our confirmation. We went back to the front desk to correct the problem and showed them the list of amenities we were promised. The staff reaction stunned me: "You need to call [the online booking agency] -- this listing is all wrong..." Luckily my husband took point on this matter and I didn’t launch into my feeling about this matter, to wit: In what universe is it the guest’s responsibility to monitor and police a hotel’s online listing? Clearly from other reviews here, we are not the only guests who did not get what they signed up for, so Eagle Crest Resort management, a note to you specifically: FIX IT – or, pull your property from these sites. We did get another a room with a balcony (by a begrudging and unapologetic staff) and a lovely view of the golf course. This was enough to make our one night stay tolerable; forget that the shower is not handheld as advertised, no HBO as stated, there wasn't a way to access the internet... Next morning I went to the front desk to inquire about a hair dryer (not supplied in our room). I was told: "We don't just assume..." meaning: it is up to the guest to make the effort to acquire this basic amenity. Bathroom products were surprisingly low-end and didn't offer body wash or conditioner at all. This "resort" needs a crash course in guest relations and needs to take the time to look at their service and services from a guest perspective. Meanwhile: buyer beware when booking this property! The king suite was comfortable, roomy, and clean. I think Eagle Crest is in the middle of renovating their rooms; everything was nicely updated except the toilet seat.. Hotels.com represented the room as having a microwave and fireplace but neither of them were present. Also some electrical updating of bedside lighting was done during my absence without notification that workers would be present. Instructions on DVD player not correct. Tried calling guest services while on the road and after arriving at the resort. They did not answer their phones 3 of the 4 times I called! The main lobby is being worked on so they have the "front desk" squeezed into a small office. Two of the office personnel were not knowledgeable (maybe new) and relied on the third employee to correct information […] they were giving us. The hotel is two stories but you cannot tell this from looking at the outside of the building as the first floor is underground. The employees did not explain this to us to our faces and the map they hand out makes it appear that there are two separate buildings that house the rooms so we drove around looking for said second building. Weren't told of elevator which would have been nice to use with our luggage. Once in our room we found the bed and pillows were wonderful. The pool is in a great location so we did enjoy it. before booking this hotel (and I say hotel not resort because it reminds me of an old school Holiday Inn) I did read the reviews saying it was not to impressive. But, I had a friend who told me she had an amazing stay. What she failed to mention was that she had rented from an individual who had a time share at the adjacent timeshare homes which are […] a part of the family but not what you are looking at here. So for dollars amount per night for the suite I was sourly disappointed. I am have stayed in much nicer extended stays, let me tell you for the same price it doesn't even compare to a Hampton Inn. Although a Trendwest owner here, we opted to purchase a one room suite so we could bring our dogs. The room was located on the ground floor with a slider which was perfect for pets. We knew there was only one bedroom with a King (my elderly parents used) and we would sleep on the pull out sofa. OK, so we were prepared for a not so perfect arrangement […] but the sofa was absolutely the worst! Do not plan on sleeping on it - you can't. Old, flat and you can feel every spring and support bar. We ended up pulling cushions off the comfy Morris chair for me to sleep on the floor and my husband slept on the couch not pulled out. Not the best, but it worked. The free breakfast is very average. Costco pastries, apples, oranges, bananas, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, scrambled eggs, unedible oatmeal (yup, it was library paste consistency) coffee and tea. It think that was it. You get two breakfasts per room so if there are 4 of you - too bad. Room had a microwave and fridge in it though. The grounds are very nice and the Christmas light show was excellent all over the resort. There is a nice restaurant (we did take out from there one night and it was very good), with a bar and a small store is on-site. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Expect minimal room cleaning during holiday stays however. Usually fine except when 4 people and 2 dogs are sharing a one bedroom unit. We found a really good Chinese restaurant in Redmond about 10 minutes away - Cindy's. Highly recommended - really nice people and some of the best chinese outside of San Francisco! Read more

This is a typical 3 to 4 star facility, very golf centric (we do not golf). The room was nice, very quiet but kind of small. We rode our bikes around on the paved trails through the homes and around the golf courses, which was a lot of fun. We had dinner at the on site restaurant, it was very good, and a good value.
