I flew in from Charlotte and stayed at the hotel. Both Haji and his beautiful wife BK were very accommodating with request to upgrade me to a larger room. They were very friendly and very helpful. Great place, nice folks, and pretty clean--except for the rugs which was like walking on tar. Why a beachside resort doesn't have tile or wood floors I don't know. When visiting our Marine son at nearby Camp LeJeune, we will stay at Oceanview again. Close to everything. Walking distance to great food, shopping, beach, and pier. VERY personable service. Owned and operated by a very nice couple. Felt like home. We were detained and didn't arrive until 3:00 a.m. We called out of courtesy and were assured that it […] would be fine.
