"Hotel was in very poor condition."

"Outdated and worn."
Good luck with the shuttle service. We waited nearly 35 minutes at the airport for shuttle driver to arrive. Every time our group or another called we were told 15 minutes. Hotel is old and passed it's time.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Use to be a nice hotel"
This hotel continues to go down hill. Owner is very obviousley not maintaining hotel. Over the past few years it has become really run down. I have stayed here over the last 10 years and it started out a solid 4 star and a good deal for the money. But sadly this will be my last stay. Broken elevator, ice machines, room safes,irons,toilets and sheets […] with holes and so thin you can see through them. No microwaves in room and skimpy continental breakfast. "Fantastic Location- Needs Updates"
The location to the light rail was what brought us back on a second trip. if you are going to Baltimore and do not want to stay in the city the hotel is ideal. The rooms were okay. "You can check in early if you are of the right hue"
Usually at this hotel you can check in early if you are of the right race. I know this to be a fact because as an african american I am told whenever I get there an hour or two early that I must wait until my reservation time of three to check in. However I have several times been checking out at eleven an have several times seen and heard the desk […] personel happily tell white customers that we have something available so we can check you in early. Most of the time they are quite nasty, rude and rigid for absolutely no reason but the obvious, except for "KIA" who is the most pleasant, professional, efficient, customer service driven person that I have ever seen in my life...no matter what color you are. "What happened to the room i booked?"
I arrived to find we were not booked in the room we were told - NO SUITE!!!! jsut a regular room NO BATH TUB only a shower no microwave - there was no way to ease my duaghters pain with the hot baths soaks or hot moist pads as no way to heat them - asked for directions to convention center was told could not get them asked for the address instead was […] told they didn't have that either. TOld them i needed to drive there they said no take thte light rail i explained why this was not an option and agian he told me no not a good idea you need to take the light rail - if yourntogoign to then suit yoruself ........INNAPPROPRIATE..house keeping with a do not distrub sign on the door and it being only 9:15 am beat on door yelling "housekeeping" three times till i yelled go away we are sleeping.....upon their next attemp i opened th te door to find the do not distturb sing gone and the woman saying clean room now............Shall we mention the first Hotles.com reservationist didn't knwo how to charge my card!! beware before you book here! "Inconvenience and Lies"
Before we even got on the plane in Indianapolis to come to Baltimore, my husband had called ahead to verify that we'd be able to get a late check-out. We'd run into a snag with the family member who was to be picking us up, and she wasn't going to be able to get to us until later than expected. When my husband called, he asked if a late check-out would […] be an issue, and he was told that it would be fine. Fast-forward to the day we checked in, and suddenly, we were getting a different story. We were told that we'd have to ask again in the morning for permission from housekeeping to check out late. I wasn't too happy about this, but I dealt with it. The following morning, I went to the front desk. At that point I was told that the hotel--not the housekeeping staff, but the hotel itself--has a firm policy of NO late check-outs, and that i we wanted to leave after the usual check out time, we'd have to pay for another night's stay. Needless to say, I wasn't happy. After much discussion, the front desk clerk FINALLY admitted that we could actually check out late for a $30-something fee. At that point, that was the best we were going to get from these liars, so we took it. I feel like the staff lied to us to keep us from cancelling and going to another hotel, inconvenienced us at every turn and did nothing that could remotely be construed as "service". "Inexpensive but unimpressive"
The hotel was a bit dirty. The carpet was stained a light black from dirt. The toilet had urine on the seat. T.v. reception was poor. The room was otherwise comfortable. The light in the shower did not work. It seemed like the staff was probably overworked by the demands of a large guest population. "Not a great hotel but close to the airport"
We traveled with our daughter and son-in-law. The air conditioning unit in our room was so noisy it kept waking us up at night. Then by 6:30am there was loud banging, as in construction work, right below our room which ended any further thoughts of sleep for the night. Since we had not arrived until late the night before, we had been planning to sleep […] in, but that was impossible. To say the continental breakfast was very basic is to be generous. After breakfast our daughter and son-in-law were unable to get back in their room because the key card would not work. We had to call staff but they also could not get the lock to work. We ended up having to wait for a maintenance man in order for our daughter and son-in-law to get into their room to get their luggage so we could leave. I will say the shower was very nice and the room was clean. It is also very close to BWI airport. "nasty hotel"
