I asked for a king size bed and they got us two doubles. They tried to sell me on the double room because it was hypoallergenic room. The upside is it had a beautiful city view! The front desk person told me they had no more king bed rooms. I spoke with the manager and they put us in a king size room immediately. "Close to M&T Bank Stadium"
The staff at the hotel was excellent and accommodating, especially when there was exessive noise on Saturday night from one of the rooms. In addition to taking care of the problem, they offered us a complimentary buffet breakfast the next morning. "One of the best"
One of the best hotel experiences we've had. The front desk staff was amazing, the room was great and really comfortable (great views of the harbor as well). We had dinner at Bistro 300 and the crab cakes were delicious. They even left my fiance a bottle of champagne and some desserts for her birthday. "On the Harbor"
Check-in was not as expected, over-charged and took four days to refund money, closed to $500, only one dining area and I had way better food for those prices. We felt the Hyatt was overrated and I can see why cause the rating questions do not ask the right questions. Also, there is only an outside pool. It was way too hot to be outside. Yes, the room […] was nice, clean but we had no intention on staying in our rooms, the staff was pleasant, and very nice hotel. "Right at the Inner Harbor"
Perfect location. This Hotel has a walking bridge that puts you right at the center of the Inner Harbor. The Hotel itself is massive and the breakfast buffet is a perfect way to start the day. The gal that checked us in could have been nicer or at least faked like she cared we were there and checking in but once we were done with her everything else […] was great. "Booking error"
When booking, I was told either a smoking room with 2 Q was available or a non-smoking with King. I took smoking and smoked in it for 2 hours until I saw the sign and went immediately to the front desk to apologize. I was told "this is a 100%" smoke-free hotel!!!!!!!! "not quite..."
The hotel was nice and the staff was very accomodating. The only downfall was I booked a Harbor view room, to find that at check-in, they didn't have any left. The threw in complimentary breakfast at the hotel which was nice, but doesn't make up for the overbooking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Harborside Hotel"
Excellent view of Harbor! Bed comfortable, good orientation with updated flat screen TV. Actually liked that the bathroom had a modern feel. Stand up shower with no tub, modern vanity. We arrived in Baltimore early and even though checkin was at 4, they allowed us to check in early at 1pm. The hotel was very clean. The layout was wonderful and going up in the elevator you can see into the lobby and then it's as if you break through the ceiling in Willy Wonka and suddenly you can see outside wall still ascending. Clean rooms, Very friendly staff, provided a refrigerator on request. Loved the pool; it could be a little larger. Overall the stay was very good! I would have said excellent but, there was one disappointment. I was told by the garage attendant that parking was free with my stay just get a card from the desk. I did that and the help at the front desk […] obliged and didn't say it cost anything and when I went to check out; I found out it was $54 for the two nights. Very disappointing.... "Almost perfect"
All in all the hotel services and staff are awesome. I had a harbor view room and it was great. The only issue was the sound from road noise 6 floors down.
