Property was not as described on internet search engine. If it was not for the fact I prepaid for this room, i would definitely not stayed. Even though it was noted that this property was upgraded in 2010 it was still an old property and not up to standard of the newer Quality Inn suites. Phone did not work, ice machine on property was broken, ac in […] unit did not work properly. Temperature outside was cooler than inside the room. Furnishing was old and out date. Reservation via the central reservation was great.The location is good and we were able to bring our 10# dog. Our room was on the 1st floor, middle of the corridor and straight in front of the pool entrance... Would recommend to give a room with less "traffic" for pet friendly rooms. Also the Bay view from the 1st floor was disappointed and practically […] nonexistent . We would enjoyed more the private beach and pool if it was clean and in good condition. Most important was the high humidity and the bad smell of mold in the bedroom. We resided over 30 years in South West Florida & Louisiana, so we have a pretty good idea of humidity issues. All the linens, towels, sheets and even our clothes were damp. One of our pillows had marks of mold. Wireless internet and flat screen TV was appreciated. Read more

Overall my stay here was very nice. We enjoyed the beach access even though it was bay side. Our room was great too. Our refrigerator didn't get very cold though. I was unhappy that all for vending machines were sold out of water the weekend that we stayed. Otherwise no other compliants

For the price of the room and location of the hotel we did not expect to have paint peeling off of our walls or our bathtub to have a patched hole. Nor did we expect to have pile of (old) landscaping debris taking up several parking spots. Also, we tried.checking in right at check in time and the didn't know.if.our room was actually ready.so check in […] took a long time. That said, the room was unbelievably clean, esp.given the age of the building. The pool and private beach area were in wonderful condition. The staff was kind. Ok prices for location. Beach area (picture from site is a little misleading) was really small but it's ok if u are traveling with little kids. Pools were decent. Beach was a 5 mins away.

When we checked in the room had a shrimp smell which they never cleaned out. It was also hard to get new towels at some points. The location isn't bad but there is some ugly construction going on next door and no seperation or organization. No complimentary breakfast and the Restaraunt that is connected is over priced and not even close to being up […] to par with the area. Read more

Besides the fact that the sink didn't have the stopper in it so when I dropped my hair clip it went down the drain, and the stopper in the shower was broken, it took me a while to get it to drain...but all in all as far as proximity to the beach, shopping, restaurants...it was very nice.

This hotel had a great harbor view and was pet friendly. The restaurant was excellent. We were close to all the attractions and the hotel has a private beach. All in all a great place to stay.

This hotel is what to be expected for the price plus a little more. The connected restaurant had good food and good service. The hotel staff were very accommodating to our two special requests. The rooms were clean. It is obvious that the management or owners are making an effort to spruce up the place, which does look nice. The hotel is an old building, […] but obviously they are being renovated. The bay view from the room was a little dissapointing, but again, worth the price. The private beach was nice and had a beautiful view. I have stayed in several similary priced hotels in the area and this is definetly at the top of being the best, plus it is at the beach. The hotel was located in a convenient area just 5 minutes from Pensacola Beach and there was a small private beach for only hotel guests. The hotel restaurant, Unique Cafe, had excellent food, we were very impressed and there is a brunch served with a live band on Sundays. As for the hotel room we were not at all impressed. The room was outdated and […] really needed remodeling. The ceiling above our bed was all stained and brownish and the tub drain was clogged, water was up to my ankles when taking a shower. The pics on the hotel website did not at all appear accurate. The pool was nice. My boyfriend and I only went for a weekend getaway and were not in the room most of the time, it did the job for the right price. Read more

The motel was horrible. It was formally a Quality Inn property but now it is a crack motel. We knew it was not right from the minute we pulled in the parking lot. There was only one person working when we arrived to check-in. He gave us the keys to a room. When we opened the door to the room, someone was already in the room because luggage was everywhere. […] We went back to the front desk and he gave us another room. This room was filthy and dirty. There were parts of the motel that were abandoned and not even being used with doors wide open and broken windows. The motel is filthy, unsafe, and poorly managed. We checked-out and stayed at a Holiday Inn Express instead. Read more

The outside appearance could be much better maintaned~Cigarette butts thrown EVERYWHERE~It was very nasty seeing all the flower beds covered with discarted cigarett butts~Thou I did request a non-smoking room you had to walk people all over the grounds smoking~I booked a room with a bay view but all I had was a view of the swimming pool~My room was […] clean but the towels looked as if they were going to fall apart with the next washing and when I requested an extra pillow I was told they did not have any~An extra pillow???? 1. They allow Dogs to stay with tenants 2. They lie real well I was told that I had a room with a view. When I arrived, I was told by desk clerk that they did have a room with a view it was room 130. There was a bush, tree, and the pool fence in the way no view and he knew it. I asked for another room and was lied to about that, after a considerable […] amount of time the Desk clerk. Told me that there was a room but the person who reserved the room 150 was a regular tenant and would be in Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. The clerk eventually moved us to another room 252 twin bed; with an additional charge which I talked him out of. He wanted to charge us an additional fee more for the room with twin beds with a view. We moved to room 252 which had twin beds, I wanted a king size he did not try accommodated us at all. Now get this on the third night it was not reserved by Hotels.com but they gave us your rate, I was told that by another clerk Linda that room 150 was our room it was not documented our name was not put on the reserved room. Linda told us this on Thursday morning and we had to change rooms she gave us another twin bed room. We wanted a king size bed. She would not accommodate with a king-size bed even though other people were checking out. The clerk had no way of knowing it was our room. I told by the clerk room 150 was our room reserved with a king bed in the first place. but they said earlier it was reserved by a regular tenant. Now the grounds were covered with cigarette butts, Maids waiting for rides or work in the lobby. Rooms need allot of repair smoke alarms hanging off the walls, flies and mosquitoes in rooms. Grounds need grooming. No organizational skills at all, the atmosphere was not friendly; the clerk did try to work with us after I told them I was a Doctor. They really need to update this hotel. It isn't bad because it is close enough to everything. So to save money we stayed here instead of on the beach which was double the price. We just needed a room to clean-up and shower so it doesn't have to be a 4-5 star hotel.

The hotel is old. It has been redecorated, but it is old and deep down dirty. The pool is disgusting. The sides are covered in mildew and residue. A hairball was in it. The water was so dirty it was cloudy. It is located before the bridge that takes you to the actual beach (hotel is located on a bay). So each time you want to go to the beach, you have […] to pay a toll. Pensacola Beach is gorgeous, clean and safe. Perfect for singles, families, anyone. However, I would suggest paying a little more and staying on Pensacola Beach directly. This old hotel is not worth the price it costs or the money it saves by not being on the beachfront. Read more

They are obviously in the process of renovation and some upgrades to building are being done right - great floors and countertops in our room. However, some fairly easy to fix things are in serious need of immediate attention -- example 5 non matching lamps in our room -- two didn't work at all and one had the shade fall down on the light bulb -- fortunately […] we were in the room to avoid a fire. There are few pillows and no extras available. The grounds are litered and VERY messy. It is pet friendly, which was the reason we stayed there, but there were so many sand spurs it was hard to my dog to find a place to go potty. The most serious problem was a VERY VERY high room rate -- we booked online and paid Beach Club but got Super 8 (or less) hotel. The room was mostly good -- great balcony overlooking the bay.
