"Great hotel at a great price!"
Recently had our anniversary "staycation" and had a great experience! Everyone was nice. Hotel was clean. Nice pool that wasn't overrun with unsupervised children. This is quite possibly the cleanest and quietest hotel I've ever slept in. The bed had tons of pillows in different materials and varying firmness. "Description was not accurate"
The staff at the hotel was very nice. Although, what bothered me was they wouldn't let us check in until they had my credit card for "any additional charges that you may incur." While I understand, I was a little taken aback. The room and bathroom were very clean. It was also an incredibly small room, but that also wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately, […] that was the end of the positives. The website boasted fast internet. That was a load of crock. The connection kept dropping, and even when it didn't, it took at least 1-2 minutes for pages to load. The TV/cable didn't work. Every channel was fuzzy or salt & pepper fights were occurring and obscuring the picture. The front desk admitted every single room had this problem due to the cable boxes. That was slightly irritating too. Oh yes, if any of you want anything to eat late at night this is NOT your place. Their pub closed at 11, and when my fiance and I looked up places to order a pizza from, or get take out, there was NOTHING around. The closest late-night place was Taco Bell. It was 5 miles away (15-20 driving minutes). Needless to say that was a complete let down. Even during business hours there are very few places to chose from nearby. My fiance and I would only stay here again if the room rates were less than $50. They aren't worth anything more due to TV, internet, and secluded location working against them - especially the TV and internet being terrible. Although, we do have to stress the staff was very friendly and accommodating to the best of their abilities. Plus, the beds were SUPER comfortable and the room was very clean. If you are just looking for a hotel to stay overnight at because you have to catch a flight then I would HIGHLY recommend this place.
