Celebration Suites at Old Town

We were pleasantly surprised by the roominess and convenience of our suite, especially for the price. We had a suite that slept 6 with a king bed, Murphy type bed and a fold out couch. The couch was a bit uncomfortable but almost all of them are. The suite was very clean although not as updated as it could have been. There was also a kitchen with a […] table and with Publix right down the street, eating in the suite was convenient. I was worried when I read previous reviews about the amusement park that was next to the hotel but it proved to be no problem at all. Old Town itself was a delight to walk through with a great variety of shops, a little bit of everything. The staff at Celebration Suites couldn't have been more accommodating. The negatives are all the little "nickel and dime" charges for services you may not use as well as charging for a continental breakfast even though that charge was certainly minimal. However, I guess that is how they keep the price of the room so reasonable. We would definitely stay there again. The convenience to Disney parks was wonderful and the area had a plethora of restaurants to choose from. Read more

Soda machines not working, a hike to get a refund, loud parties, drinking in public, key cards not working - - but despite all that the rooms were a bit outdated but have everything you need. Right next to Old Town and free shuttle service to Disney.

The stay was decent. The room was clean and the A/C worked great but the hotel could use some updated furniture, appliances, TVs. The lobby is beautiful but th pictures on the web does more justice than the actual room itsefl. The hotel is directly next to a small amusement park / pubs which can be annoying when trying to rest unless you are exhausted […] and can drift right off to sleep. The continental breakfast was not included in my stay but it really isn't worth the fee. You are only allowed 3 items from the selection and the fee includes little kids (5 & under). The parking pass is a good idea but there are visitors there who use the hotel as a primary residence so parking can become a little difficult to be directly by your room. The appliances are okay - refridgerator was old and a little rusty but it kept the items placed inside very cold. The sink was small and had a slow drain so if you do stay here and select the room with the kitchen - remember to bring a small drying stand to dry your dishes and there is no oven. The staff was nice but many spoke little English except for checking in and out. The location was very convenient surrounded by a lot of restaurants and stores so if you needed to run out to pick up a forgotten item you didn't have to drive 20 miles to do so. Read more

I really like this hotel. the rooms are spacious so your able to really relax. Didn't like the hike to breakfast.Coffee maker in room w/ iron and board in room a definite plus! Very comfortable beds, and I'm a big man.have stayed at other properties in area, this is one my favorites.

The hotel was dated for a better choice of words. But the staff was very helpful. Its located in center of everything. We walked just about everywhere. Didnt like having to check in then wait in line for parking pass, only to be hard balled about tickets and time share tours.

It was a great setup because it slept 6 easily. The location was good next to "Old Town Kissimmee. You could walk to the carnival and shops. It was also close to a lot of restaurants and stores. However, the music was so loud it sounded like it was in our room and there were contant reving engines all night long. You had to rent any kitchen utensils […] and dishes. Unfortunately, this hotel fails when it comes to location, because it's located directly next to a VERY LOUD amusement park. Like to listen to classic rock until 12pm every night? This isn't the Ritz by any means, but it was very nice. Had two tvs, a pull out bed, bed in the wall, and a kitchen with fridge, microwave, and stove. Separate bedroom we slept in while son slept on pull out bed. Maid service kept room clean. Love the in room safe. Pool was nice to relax in after spending time at SeaWorld and Disney. VERY close to Disney […] and Orlando. I'd say within 10 minutes drive. Close to Old Town, which is a great place to walk around and has lots of rides, and shops. Ate at Flipper's Pizza twice! I have stayed here for several years and have never had a problem until now. My early morning flight got me to Suites at 11 am. I had to sit and wait for 5 hours because "Your room isn't ready". I don't know if they have changed their policy or what has happened. I have always arrived at that time in the past and was given a room right away. I read a lot of reviews before staying at Celebration Suites and was a little worried but decided I'd give it a shot. Yes, the hotel is in need of some remodeling and updating. Rooms do have some minor cosmetic issues and are a bit run down. On the flip side, room was very clean and we saw none of the bugs mentioned in reviews. We were on the 2nd floor […] and I'm sure that had a lot to do with it. People need to understand that this IS Florida and there will be bugs around! The beds were very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly. Problem with the hot water tank in our building and we had no hot water for a while. Reported it and an outside plumbing service pulled in less than an hour later...and this was after midnight! Was offered to switch buildings but we decided to wait and see..it was fixed the following day (by a 2nd plumbing service.. 1st one didn't know what they were doing) Also saw none of the people hanging around the property that other reviewers noted. Area was fine, no problems. Old Town right across the street and hotel is convenient to a lot of things to do. The kitchen was great to have after a day at the parks...saved us a ton of money. Took our own dishes and such so don't know anything about the stuff they have available to rent during your stay. All in all it was a great value for the room; we had tons of space and easy access to a lot of places. Would definitely use this hotel again!! Read more

It was ok for the price. Had to switch rooms due to mattress being broken. Then second rooms key battery kept dying. Only 1 pool was open and VERY far away. Very overpriced for laundry. Surcharge on anything extra.... Wi-fi, breakfast, etc. very noisy from traffic and amusement park next door. Was spacious apartment like room.

Check in was great, the 2 employees on duty were very nice and helpful. when we got to our non smoking room, it actually had a stale cigarette smell that bothered me right away, so I went to the front desk to complain and to ask for a possible room change, right away with no hesitation they put us in another room. This room also had a weird old cigarette […] smell as well.... Not as strong as the other room so we decided to just deal with it... Besides that everything was great! Very clean room (other reviews mentioned bugs in the room, so I made sure to keep an eye out)- thankfully no bugs in sight! service was great- speedy check in and check out. Hotel location is great close to the Disney parks, amusement park next door! I would definitely recommend this place. My car was towed from this hptels parking, Terrible security! and I had to pay the fee of towing!
