Five minutes from downtown Kissimmee and 15 minutes from Orlando, this Florida hotel is near Gatorland. The hotel is also 15 miles from Walt Disney World®.

Centered around a water park with slides, a lazy river, and a swimming pool, this family-friendly Clarion Resort also has a fitness center and a game room together with supervised child activities. There are four dining options on site, including a full-service restaurant, a lounge, and an ice-cream shop. Four thousand square feet of meeting and events space is located on site and event catering, banquet facilities and wedding services are provided. Pets, cats and dogs only, are accepted.

All 247 non-smoking rooms at the Clarion Resort and Waterpark have kitchenettes with microwaves, refrigerators, coffee/tea makers, and minibars. Rooms are also outfitted with 27-inch cable televisions, wireless Internet access, desks with ergonomic chairs, in-room safes, and iron/ironing boards. Private bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. No rollaway beds available.

Kissimmee’s downtown is chockablock with historic buildings. The city’s courthouse, dedicated in 1890, is Florida’s oldest courthouse still in use. Lake cruises depart from the city’s waterfront perch on Lake Tohopekaliga. The lake is a bird haven, and its big-mouth bass lure anglers. Feral hogs, turkeys, and white-tailed deer roam south of Kissimmee at the Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area.

"Staff friendly - Hotel needs TLC"
Front desk staff very friendly. I would of liked to use the heat in our room Friday and Saturday. Hotel room had a problem with the ceiling. The room itself hadn't been dusted in a long time. There was a piece of candy wrapper behind the small table near the armoir. Called the front desk to see if someone could fix the heat. Heat was not fixed so asked […] for extra blankets. Hotel was busy for the weekend so when our room was cleaned, our dirty towels were picked up and we got some of the items back except wash clothes and bath mat. Took a shower Monday morning after the hotel cleared out and by the end of my shower I had warm water. I didn't have a problem the previous two days due to the other guests using the water and warm water being in the area. I believe my room was too far to get to from the boiler to get a nice warm shower in a timely manner. "Convenient location but not the greatest."
We rsserved one night initially. Then days before our stay we called the hotel to extend another night. All was confirmed by phone but not when we arrived. Also we were disappointed that the water park costs extra. Didn't see that when booking! The water park had lots of fun activites for the kids! But they were out of towels. "Ownership Change"
We have stayed here several times when either taking a flight out or picking someone up. The location is very conveinant to the airport. Someone originally had this hotel at one point that obviously loved children. The rooms were nicely updated at one point and this was a great place to take young children. "Way out from the parks"
This hotel is way out from the Disney World parks. If you take 192 to and from those parks it is easily a 30 minute ride with all the lights. The entrance to the hotel is a little hard to find the first time there and I ended up on the turnpike. The location was great for our event @ Silver Spur Arena. Few things were not great. The hotel charged an extra $15.00 a day for the waterpark (upon check-in) that was not in the original price. "Nice for the stay, not for the resort"
This was a decent hotel for the stay...about what you would expect for the price. The mandatory resort fee is annoying since we didn't want or use the waterpark which was really nothing impressive anyway. The fitness room had 3 pieces of equipment and a weight bench. 2 of the machines were out of order and the weight bench had no weights. What a joke […] and disappointment. "Hidden Charges"
First off the sheets did not get changed. The towels did but everyday we had to go get hand towels. I didn't like the fact that the toilet seat does not have a cover.
