"Poor customer service"
My husband and I arrived at 10:00am and the representative did not assist us in checking in early. She did not give us options. When we arrived later in the day at 8:00pm, the male representative was extremely rude and did not provide information on hotels perks. I had to ask him where to park, where was the room and what services does the hotel provide. […] He stated "just free breakfast". That same night I saw a sign that the hotel had spa services. This is the first time we stay at this hotel, it was clean the rooms are nice but extremely poor customer service. Nice big flat screens, comfortable beds, large sink table, large refrigerator, two closets, a sink for dishes, lots of space! One last concern the parking is horrible. The hotel itself was in great condition. We were shocked at how pretty, upgraded and well maintained it is. The price was great. The location is less than 10 minutes from Disney's Animal Kingdom and is surrounded by tons of other hotels, restaurants and places to shop. The only problem was the bed. I was very pleased with our accommodations. We have stayed at Baymont Inns at other locations and have always been pleased. "Good but needs to vary the food of the breakfast"
It was good. I just complain about the breakfast, cause It was the same every day! I stayed for four nights with my husband and two kids, and they served the same each day! All the money has been spent on the lobby. The outside of the building has paint peeling, no lighting in the stairwells, (which is really creepy) the carpeting needs to be replaced and the bathrooms are in need of a good cleaning and regrouting. We checked in very late, but was greeted by a friendly attendant, check-in was a breeze. The room was clean, comfortable beds, large flat screen tv, nice size fridge & microwave. My daughter and I used the pool, found it to be clean and well maintained, and for families with smaller children there is a small wading pool. I must give kudos to the cleaning […] ladies they were so pleasant also the ladies working the guest services...great recommendations! The lobby and breakfast eating area are nice, the continental breakfast is cereals, juices & breads. It's not the best but it's enough to get you out the door and on to your morning event. Yes the outside area where the rooms are, could use some freshening up as well as the exercise room which consisted of 2 treadmills & 1 stationary bike. I stayed here a few years ago and it was not too bad (right after some renovations) but it has gone down hill since then. Bathrooms are in pretty sad shape, there were parts I didnt want to get near. The pictures on the internet did not reflect the actual hotel in it's self. The bathroom smelled of mold and you could see mold in the bathroom. There maid service lack a lot to be desired. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. We even heard the police come to a room upstairs from us and pound on the door.
