This is a newer Springhill Suites and is located right off of I-64. A Houlihans and Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant are located right next to the hotel. Less than a mile from The Galleria in Clayton. "Fix the TV problem"
This was our second trip to this location. Six months ago, one of us stayed there and the TV did not work. The management knew exactly what to say to fix the problem when we called the desk for help. This trip same issue, same quick response but this time no TV all weekend. They did add points to Marriott account to make up for it. "Family Friendly But Still Professional Atmosphere"
We had a room with two queen beds. Very spacious layout with the additional sectional sofa seating area and desk. The room had a kitchenette-small fridge, microwave, kitchen sink cabinet and shelves. This was perfect for our family of four with 2 small kids. The sitting area is separated from the bed area by a small wall with a translucent window. The […] first room we had on the second floor was right by the Dog and Cat Adoption building right next door. Considering that storms were expected that night, we asked to have our room changed to the other side in case the dogs started barking during the storm. The clerk was very accommodating-didn't even ask why we wanted to change our room. In the end, we're glad we changed because the first room only had a walk-in shower with a full glass enclosure. The second room had a regular bath tub-which we needed for the kids. Breakfast was included with our room and it was great! Make-your-own-waffles, scrambled eggs, cereal, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, juices, coffee....and free coffee was available all day in the lobby. The lobby/eating area is beautiful and clean. The pool was small but served our needs well. We were at the hotel 4 days and only once was someone else in the pool with us. There is no hot tub but there is a nice workout room. My family really enjoyed this hotel. The decor was modern and the room was clean. The breakfast had a large variety and was very filling. The pool was small but since my kids were the only ones using it they had a blast.
