"A Terrible experience"
this was awful. When I arrived, they told me that my room was flooded and that the only room available was a handicap room (if I paid in advance a month ago, why did they give away that room that I already paid for to someone else?). Then when I got to the room I discovered that there was no phone. When I went to the front desk to tell them, the only […] response was "well, gee, there's SUPPOSED to be a phone." Really? I couldn't figure that out for myself, now could I? They didn't put in a phone until the next afternoon after I had to tell them again. Finally, they never had room service clean the room or make the bed. When I returned to the room Saturday night, it was just as i had left it--bed unmade, trash not taken out and used towels on the floor. All in all, this was awful. "Don't Stay Here!"
The front desk guy who checked us in was disinterested and acted like working the front deskmwas the LAST place he wanted to be. The lobby area is kinda sketchy, poorly appointed and grimy. The elevator was musty-smelling and the second floor had some sort of nasty odor....not sure, maybe the carpet or cleaning supplies. Our room was small but I will […] say that the bed was super comfy. And the real deal breaker for me was the distance from the airport.....too far and our shuttle pick up was THE WORST!! We called for a shuttle pick up at 7:15pm and were told that it would be there in 35-40 minutes...NOT! We waited 80 minutes and arrived at the hotel 30 minutes later. I do not recommend this hotel! "Not Ready for Prime Time -Maybe Later"
The outside looks pretty good. The inside is in the process of being remodeled. The room we booked was OK, but could be better. The toilet seat was missing a screw and wobbled. The bathroom was newly painted, but not very well. The heart-shaped in-room jacuzzi was nice, but did not seem to be working. We had to call the front desk to have them "enable" […] it. The 1 soda machine in the hotel was not working. The juice machine in the breakfast area was out of juice when we checked out.
