I was pleased with our stay for the most part but a little disappointed with the pool and smell in the hotel. The pool and hot tub didn't seem clean, the water was very cloudy. clean room, really just needed a cheap hotel near the airport. Got into the hotel in the evening, the hotel parking lot was completely full. Had to park across the street in parking not reserved for the hotel. When asked if my car would get towed, the guy behind the counter barely looked up from his magazine to shrug his shoulders and go back to what […] he was reading. "TRY to avoid at all costs"
We stayed there for 7 nights as we were trying to be b/n Dallas and Fort Worth. The location is convenient, however, event that was questionable as now (Jan 2012) there is lots of construction in the area and getting to and from hotel could be tricky. The service was horrible, staff is not pleasant and abrupt. The hours for swimming pool are 10AM to […] 10PM which makes it hard to use and breakfast from 6AM to 9AM - was hard for us to make it as we were on vacation and didn't get up early enough. Breakfast food is plain and very basic (waffles, muffins, boiled eggs, cereal). They don't put out enough food. On the last morning when lots of people were in the hotel we didn't get any food by 8AM. Our room was vacuumed once in the entire stay but the girl would knock on our door every morning at 9AM trying to see if we want the room cleaned. She would wake us up and I'd tell her to come back later, hoping she would clean the room - she changed trash bags and fold the towels. Bad choice for the price. We had a pleasant enough experience at this location. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We spent very little time in the room itself since we had plans for New Years Eve, and staff did allow us a late checkout the next day as it was New Years Day and we had a late flight out that day. "Only stay here if nothing else available"
Staff poorly trained and barely spoke. Not welcoming or friendly. "Not as nice as most others."
I booked this room because of the price, indoor pool and previous stays at other Sleep Inns. This one is in serious need of upgrades. The indoor pool was nice and breakfast was what I expected. The room was a shock. The beds are past the point of being replaced and the TV did not have a remote. We finally found it prior to check out under one of the […] beds. The beds sloped to one side and you could feel the springs. Other Sleep Inns have pillow top matteress. There were no pay-per view movies available. Great room. The staff was great. The gentleman picked me up at the airport after I returned our rental car. We had a 7am flight and did not want to deal with it in the morning. "Close to DFW"
