We checked into our hotel about 10P.M. and my boyfriend called the front desk to get the password for the wifi-The clerk at the front desk hung up on him 3 times before he could get an answer out of her. The next morning we woke very early to the painters and maids shouting back and forth at one another in spanish. The entire hotel reeked of paint because […] they were painting the doors. Why anyone would have a hotel painted on the weekend with a fully booked hotel is beyond me. Before we went to bed the previous night we left the "do not disturb" sign hanging on our door so that the maids would not come in and clean because we had our things in the room. Before we left the hotel for the day we made sure to leave the "do not disturb" sign in our door so that no one would go in there where our things were. When we returned to the hotel late that night we found our door standing open with tape over card slot and door handle (the painters had obviously disregarded our "do not disturb" sign and helped themselves in). We went to the front desk to make them aware of this problem and the front desk clerk was not only completely apathetic about the situation but the hotel OWNER was standing right there and could offer no other explanation than "we will talk to the painters." They offered no other comfort for our complete breech of privacy. I felt violated and vulnerable. So for 12 hours that day our room sat open with all of our personal belongings inside. 1) Customer NO Service! It was midnight, I was lost and trying to find the hotel only to be hung up on by an ego-maniac who was part owner (Abbas). I later learned the hotel was under new mgmt. 2) Hotel under construction and No fore warning or sign to what I was walking into.. I was looking for work- space and was told there was no place to put a […] laptop. I had to vacate the room with no courtesy from mgmt as giving me a couple hours grace period to work in the room! 3) Not sticking to shuttle schedule: I had to leave when THEY told me to, otherwise, I would have to take a cab to the airport. The night before, mgmt had sign a book noting a certain time the shuttle was leaving--they decided to pick their own time and ignore my request per their own sign-in sheet. We stayed there for 7 nights as we were trying to be b/n Dallas and Fort Worth. The location is convenient, however, event that was questionable as now (Jan 2012) there is lots of construction in the area and getting to and from hotel could be tricky. The service was horrible, staff is not pleasant and abrupt. The hours for swimming pool are 10AM to […] 10PM which makes it hard to use and breakfast from 6AM to 9AM - was hard for us to make it as we were on vacation and didn't get up early enough. Breakfast food is plain and very basic (waffles, muffins, boiled eggs, cereal). They don't put out enough food. On the last morning when lots of people were in the hotel we didn't get any food by 8AM. Our room was vacuumed once in the entire stay but the girl would knock on our door every morning at 9AM trying to see if we want the room cleaned. She would wake us up and I'd tell her to come back later, hoping she would clean the room - she changed trash bags and fold the towels. Bad choice for the price. Could have been staying in Plano Westin for less money. But found out too late. Read more

Well, called for a shuttle when I arrived, 30 minutes later called again, 30 minutes later called again...should have been more keen but this was the OMEN...had a 7:30 flight in AM...arrived to check on shuttle, front desk said, it'd be here in 5 minutes, went to get my bags and returned...oh...it just left\...the next one will be here in 45 minutes...but […] my flight leaves 1.5 hours...no problem, we''ll get you there...shuttle arrive 1 hour later...oh yes...missed my flight, paid to get on another one....thanks but no thanks....never again! Everything seemed OK until I went to bed, when I pulled back the comforter, there was a (small) blood spot in the middle of the bottom sheet. I looked in the trash can to see if the room had been flipped by the maid and sure enough there was garbage from the previous guest. We were just looking for a clean, comfortable and economical place to sleep during our airport layover. The staff was courteous and helpful; our room was clean, comfortable and economical. The free breakfast was fine. We had to wait a long time for the free shuttle from the airport, but the shuttle from the hotel to the airport was on time and worked […] out great.
