"Great location"
Nice hotel with pretty good breakfast options included in room pricing. My only complaint is that the side door never locked and anyone could walk in whenever they chose without a key. Other than that I was very happy with my stayGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice with a few issues"
The staff was friendly in my interaction with them at the front desk; however, I did run into an issue when I asked about getting a new set of sheets. When I pulled down the comforter and flat sheet on the bed in the room, I found a couple of stains on the fitted sheet. This was slightly disturbing to me, so I decided to ask the front desk for a new […] sheet. Initially I was questioned about the stain, but the front desk attendant decided to help by seeing if there was one available in the front desk area. Unfortunately there weren't any. She said they would come and bring me another one in a little bit. The sheet never came. I brought them the sheet when I left, and the attendant apologized for the inconvenience. In the room, the carpet had a few large stains on it, but the overall decor was not terrible. This hotel is located in a nice area with restaurants and other shops nearby. "Wingate in Irving a little dirty..."
Overall stay wasn't too bad. Room had black stain spots on the carpet, White stains on the chair and stool, and the throw pillow had a HUGE grease stain on it! GROSS! We left one evening for dinner and came back and someone had entered our room. There was a random blanket on the desk. When I called down to ask why our room had been entered and there […] was a random blanket on the desk the front desk lady responded with "Well if you don't want it just bring it back down here it's not that big of a deal!" Not sure if they have the right to enter the room for any reason or not and she was not professional at all. On another note there is a back door which leads to the car rental office that remains unlocked at all times! I didn't think that this was very safe. The four nice things about the hotel were the breakfast, price, and comfy bed, and locaton. Usually I don't do surveys because I always thought they were a waste of time but reviews are what helped me pick out my hotel so if figured i should leave one...So unless you want a dirty room or front desk staff that does not care stay here! Stayed here for a relaxing weekend with my wife. We spent a lot of time in the room and it was a splendid experience. We stayed in a King room and there was lots of space, a desk, a chair, several small tables, a large TV, iron, fridge, microwave, closet, etc. etc. Everything you could want in a little home-away-from-home.
