"Okay for the basics"
Room was clean, however we did get a call in our room from someone representing the hotel trying to scan our credit card and that was very uncomfortable. "Great property - with a near-fatal flaw"
I really wanted to like this property. It was reasonably close to my destination where I was training for 3 days and the price was extremely reasonable. Access to the freeway was great and the neighborhood, while stark and industrial, felt safe. The facilities were nice and felt like they were pretty new or recently renovated. The room was a little […] stark but clean and functional - I really appreciated the fact that a refrigerator and microwave were included, plus a 'real' coffee-maker (one where you could actually make your own coffee from the store if you wanted, not those little 'pucks' of coffee). So all that was a real plus. Two elevators were handy for getting to the upper floors and are not necessarily normal for this type of hotel (outside room access). The bed was reasonably comfortable although the pillows lacked something to be desired - they were like bags of shredded upholstery foam, not like real pillows. But that really didn't bother me. The issue was with the shower temperature, which fluctuated wildly from hot to cold. I reported it and it was supposedly "fixed" but really wasn't. I suspect the ultra low-flow shower heads are causing the issue - it's like being peed on by a puppy. I guess I'll have to go back to the shabbier but comfortable Red Roof Inn down the street. "Great for the price"
A great hotel for the price, that being said I would have loved a bit of an upgrade on the continental breakfast and make sure you know what time the shuttles are leaving as they are run hourly. The room is good for couple nights stay. Clean and comfortable, however the WiFi network is slow but it is working properly with intermittent disconnection. The hotel was on the northern fringe of the airport adjacent to the frontage road. I thought the property was in decent shape but was showing some wear. My bedcover had what looked like a cigarette burnhole in it and my bathroom door had some drywall screws holding it together. The complimentary breakfast was pretty weak.
