"Dirty."
We stayed here overnight on a last minute trip. Disappointed is an understatement. First off, we booked and paid for the room online but were asked for a credit card for "incidentals" which they then did an imprint on a piece of paper. Seriously, who does imprints anymore? And when I asked what would be done with the imprint the clerk acted irritated […] at my concern. The whole place needs a facelift. The carpet in our room looked dirty, the ironing board was stained and ripped. The bathroom was not clean. The tub looked like it needed a good scubbing,the tile floor was sticky and the grout was filthy. The tub faucet was so hard to turn on, my husband said he was afraid he was going to rip it off the wall, not to mention the water kept changing from hot to cold. The mattress was extremely saggy and uncomfortable. We were so uncomfortable about the cleanliness of the room we chose not to eat the free breakfast. We will NEVER stay here again!!! Check in was the first sign in early afternoon no one at desk, waited 15 minutes to see some one return. Visit was for one week and adding a second. gave the Hotel the benefit of doubt when arrived to room and found dirty towels, followed by dirty towels given at desk. By experience and extra safety I tied twist ties to zippers of luggage. To return […] and find they had been gone through, as well room not clean. Top of days later found sheets where not clean, as well a drunk trying to break into my room. Staff at times where kind some where extremely rude, including the manager who found it OK to awake me at 7:00am with repetitive knocks and even tried to enter my room while I was a sleep with out warning of his attempt to enter. This hotel was NASTY! Very old and dated looking rooms. Refrigerator in my room did not work, and while I was taking a shower the water was alternating between hot and cold about every 5 minutes. "Bad experience with fraudulent front desk tel call"
An hour or so after check in, I received a room call from the front desk asking me to verbally verify my check in information due to a computer crash. When I went to the front desk, the clerk said it was not her that made the call. Oblivious and unconcerned is probably the best way I can describe the front desk clerk. I had to ask for a room change. […] The request for a manager call back to my cell phone never happened. Now, the rest of the story: At check in, a different clerk gave me the typical key 'pouch' with the room number written on it.. As I was l leaving the front desk, the clerk announced my room number with directions on how to reach it. His voice was actually louder than conversational. Because this was most untypical, I actually did take notice of three persons in the breakfast area. They appeared engaged in their own conversation, and I decided the unusual announcement of my room number was careless, and not an issue. This hotel does not have its own shuttle, but used Airport Connection. When the airplane landed at 10:15PM , I called hotel front desk. They said the shuttle should come soon. We waited and waited.
