Worst Westin we have ever stayed in!!! The staff is terrible which explains why the rate was so low!!!! Great beds and showers as always, but everything else was disappointing. Outdoor pool is not heated which is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Breakfast buffet seemed great until my husband pulled a long hair out of his scrambled eggs, and the […] employee at the Starbucks in the hotel was not trained!!! We had to throw away our drinks!!! Valet challenged my husband about a parking spot in front of our children, and he was wrong. The space was Not marked for valet!!! He said to me "your husband won this one"???? "Clean room, Bad service"
The service was horrible. When the manager came up to us and offered to remove the charges to our bill, she said she would take care of it. We came down to the lobby the next morning and found out that it was not taken care of. We take great pride in knowing that the vast majority of our guests leave our hotel 100% satisfied and I apologize that we missed the mark in your case. I only wish that I had had the opportunity to visit with you while you were a guest in the hotel. I am sure that we would have found a way to resolve these issues to your complete satisfaction. "Was not given the information i needed"
I had a reservation for the 4th of July and to check out on the 5th. So a total of one day. I arrived at 1 am on the 4th and was checked in at teh front desk. I went to my room and slept until about 10 am went out to grab a bite to eat and returned around 12. i went to my room and my key did not work. so i returned to the front desk. they appologized […] and gave me new keys. I went to teh room and left again around 7 pm. Returned again and the keys didnt work again. i returned to the desk to see what the problem was and the manageer told me that my reservation was changed from the 4th to the 3rd and even though i ahd only been there less than 24 hours i would need to pay an additional night to stay. "Westin Dallas/Ft. Worth needs to work on it"
We had just stayed at a Westin in Beijing, China. I had no qualms about booking a room in Dallas/Ft. Worth for a funeral. During the night, the sink in the bathroom gurgled and in the morning, it would not drain. Maintenance spent Saturday afternoon snaking the sink and the one in the adjoining room. The safe locked my valuables in and then would not […] open. Maintenance had to be called again. On Sunday morning, the toilet overflowed and we were happy to be leaving. Not up to Westin standards, with ripped carpet at the door of the room and the privacy blind at the window torn and tattered, preventing it from going up.
