The front desk staff, bartender (John), and the afternoon shuttle driver were amazing! They were so helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant’s food... was fantastic. My only gripes were, the valet saw me park and he waited for me to get out of my car and unload my own luggage. My hands were very full and I would have appreciated his help. The room was very hot. The room did not keep a consistent temperature. The TV remote did not work. I left a note for the housekeeper and they never fixed it. There was hair and spots on the comforter. The gift/snack shop was never conveniently opened. When it was opened, the attendant spent most of her time talking on the phone. I did not know if she was talking to the person or me on the phone. It was very rude. In addition, what hotel does not have vending machines! Every time I wanted a soda, I had to go down stairs to the shop and wait for her to come back. It was very inconvenient. I would have rated the hotel lower, if I did not have a great experience with the front desk staff, John, and the afternoon shuttle driver. by a Hotels.com guest on 05/10/13
