The stay was great. The employees were very welcoming. The hotel is just outside of Washington D.C. The room was nice, there was one issue with a desk... chair in the room. It had what looked like dried paint on it, it wasnt a problem sitting on it. There are some good take out places just around the corner and dine in places as well. Nice, comfortable room with a helpful, hardworking staff. The hotel is within walking distance (a little under a mile) from the Huntington metro, but there is a relatively cheap ($4.50 per day) parking garage right there, as well. Had a good time, and it was a nice stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Red Roof Inn but everytime it seems like when I make reservations for a weekend, my room has been cancelled. This last stay, I was very disappointed that my room was not clean.

Impossible to get reasonable rates in the DCA area, on short notice, but Red Roof fitted the bill, withing walking distance to the subway. But please do away with that aweful night window, when you are tired and check in at 2am!

When i checked in the hotel the clerk was very friendly, i signed my paperwork and went to the room. The room was very clean and neat i had a very nice stay. Not too far from the metro maybe a 10 minute walk to huntington metro station. I recommend this hotel to every one.
