The hotel posted reasonable rates online. Staff members were cordial and nice. Staff offered assistance in making the stay comfortable and friendly. Room was very clean and furniture in very good condition. Location suited nearby restaurants and retailers for ease of shopping and quick dining.

Besides needing a makeover the first room they gave me had stains on the carpet. They gave me another room and it had no heat and hot water. It was late when i moved the room. I didn't notice about the heat till morning. Same with the shower. I was there for a a funeral for my 12 year old niece. This stay was far from the comfort inn.

I was worried about it being clean after reading reviews, but was surprised that it was clean and comfortable. But they have STILL not fixed one elevator so there is only one, the wait can be long at times. The neighborhood is not the best but had no problems, for the price in that area, it is very good.

Cleanliness, and NO HOT WATER (on the 6th floor) were deal breakers. Also, the gimmick $5.00 breakfast coupon at the IHOP (just off the hotel lobby) was annoying, and inadequate. Clearly, IHOP is not what it used to be!!!

The staff on premises was always very friendly, courteous and professional. Hotel not very well kept and very very noisy. Had to call front desk twice in one night for parties going on. Carpet in room was filthy as were the walls in the bathroom. All Employees were very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is ok, it was very close to where i needed to be.

This hotel was SO BAD, I don't even know where to begin. Although there is a sign on the building, there is no driveway on the main street, just a chain link fence. No signs for it on the side street and only a small sign at the driveway. The hotel was poorly maintained with broken elevator buttons, burnt out lights, out of order vending, a phone with […] no working buttons, and worn and stained carpet. The front desk just doesn't seem to care, not answering calls, saying the are "too busy" to talk or shunting you off to multiple other people. The Internet service they say they have didn't work from my room at all in spite of numerous calls up to the manager of the hotel (who didn't return the call) and to the highest level of support for their network provider. They locked the main doors at different times at night, all before the time they said they locked them. This meant guests had to go to a side door that was on a very narrow sidewalk. There was a shopping center that seemed nice enough across the street, but getting there was a difficulty because of the poorly marked streets. The center next door looked very run-down. Although the low price and location near freeway were nice, I came for a relaxing visit to family, not to be stressed out in the hotel. we stayed here two nights on our trip to D.C. there is no way we could afford to stay downtown, but this was very convenient to the interstate and had a metro station about a mile away. This hotel offers a free shuttle service to the metro station on the half hour. This was a huge help. The station has very little parking, so take advantage of this! […] The hotel was clean and well-maintained. Had some trouble getting wi-fi to work the first night, but worked fine after that. The room was spacey clean sheets and towels. The carpet need to be replaced very dirty and mold was on the bathroom walls. Also the outside ot the tub had a lot of rust around it. The room did not have a fresh smell but the room was very well price and the location is convenient.

This hotel is in a VERY GHETTO AREA! At 11:30pm, a crack head was banging on my hotel room door for 15 min, each time getting louder, and leaning in to hear inside. Stay here at your own risk and consider yourself warned!

Biggest negative was breakfast. It was disappointing as voucher for $5 at IHOP in hotel was insufficient. You basically ended up paying for breakfast w/tip,coffee, etc. If you're used to having buffet, self serve style, it will be less than satisfactory.

The night manager was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was that one of the elevators was not working causing people to have use stairs carrying luggage. Also, there needs to be better signage directing traffic from adjacent main road.

The hotel seems to not be in a very nice area for starters. It is plenty clean, however there were always a few seedy looking people hanging out in the lobby and napping on the couches. The room that we ended up with was unfortunately at the end of a hallway next to a stairwell and the door to the stairs was rather loud. We ended up in a handicapped […] accessible room so the bathroom was very big but the floor for the shower and the bathroom tile was at the same level and no matter how careful you were you ended up with a lake spilling out from the shower, into the bathroom and even into the hallway even after putting down three large towels on the floor. The shower attachment was at a really strange height and the water never, never heated up even though it was fairly early (before 7AM) when I took a shower. I felt like it was a decent hotel but for the money it was not worth it. Sorry to say I wouldn't stay there again if given a choice. Read more

The extraction of the bathroom was not working. The hair drier was not working fine, and it took like 1 hour to get a replacement. I can not recommend using the shuttle from the hotel to the train station, the driver was watching a movie while driving.

The lobby was very inviting, the staff was wonderful, but there was an awful musty smell as soon as the elevator opened onto my floor. The smell continued into the room. Also, there were stains on the bedspreads, the vent in the bathroom did not work, the remote control did not work and I did not have all of the channels listed.

I was waken in the middle of the night itching & scratching and I found some kind a insect/bug in my bed. I had bit marks on my arms, which was the part of my body that was exposed. From the time of the bites, my arms started to swell but I throught things would get better. This was not the case, the itching, scratching, & sweling continued and then […] can pain. I was having an adverse reaction to the insect/bug bits and I had to go to the emergency room to be treated. I informed the frontdesk and was moved to a room on a different floor. The incident happpen between the hour of 3:00-4:00 in the morning, given the hour I had no where else to go. I would never return to this hotel again and nor would I recommend it to anyone else. I was very upset I was double charge for the hotel room. I reserved two rooms for holding only. If they knew the room was already paid for they should have not taken the other person credit card. If this is what happens I won't ever do that again in life. I am very upset that I am being charge twice for a room I did not sleep in.

Recommeded to this hotel 4 years ago by a local hospital when in DC on an emergency. Went back to visit colleges in the area with my son and very satisfied with our stay. Hotel and room very clean and comfortable and the staff was great. They were very helpful and friendly. Shuttle driver effecient and on time. I would definately stay here again.

The room was clean when we first got there. Ended up having a leaky air conditioner that soaked the floor. The thing that really frustrated us was that we paid the additional $10 for a third person and only had 2 towels and 1 wash cloth. We called down to the front desk to get more and they said they would be right up. Called again 15 minutes later, […] they would be right up. Called a third time, they would be right up. 15 minutes later, they arrived. 50 minutes after our original call and we were already late for meeting friends that day. They still brought 5 towels and no wash cloths. She said more towels were on their way. Well, we didn't need 20 towels, we just wanted prompt service! That was our aggravating stay. Read more
