"Shocked"
I called the front desk for a late check out but when thy informed me that check out was for noon I really didn't have to request one. So while I was wrapping up some work before checking out the housekeeper walks in (a do not disturb sign was on the door) so I let her know I was in the room. "Smokey non-smoking room"
My non-smoking room reeked of smoke when you turned on the air conditioner. They clean the room with lysol and fabrreze the first day which helped for awhile. But the foul stench came back. "Disappointing Stay"
I felt like I was in a closet. The noise from the room above me was very disturbing through the night, The noise was like elephants stomping around the room. I even told the front desk clerk and their acknowledgment of my statement was oh with a smile. I was sorely disappointed by our stay at this hotel. When we arrived, we were told we had reserved a smoking room. I checked the confirmation I received from Hotels.com and it clearly stated that we had reserved a non-smoking room. "Oh no!"

The best thing about this hotel was the friendly staff, especially Pearl, the morning breakfast hostess. She was very kind and welcoming. As far as the hotel, when we arrived after a 12 hr. drive, the reservation for the room was not accurate, plus one of the two rooms had a horrible smoke odor but was a "non-smoking" room. The hotel has a nice location with restaurants and shopping close. I didn't feel comfortable because it felt dirty. The toilet wasn't clean and there were hairs in the shower. "Not Too Happy"
At first glance, this hotel seemed ok, but when we got into the room, it was nasty. The room smelled, the furniture was old and ratty, and there was an old pizza box with dried up pizza still left in it in the dresser drawer. The bed linens were clean but when I sat down on the side of the bed, it had come off the frame and almost left me on the floor. This is not the hotel for you if you are very sensitive to smoke, as I and my son are. Even our non-smoking room smelled of smoke that seeped in from a hallway that people smoke in or while waiting on the elevator.
