The employees were polite, however the room was hot and system was not working properly. The bathroom needs work, the shower head was pulling away from tile. Also I had to ask for a showercap and go Down to get it. The beds were comfortable.

We had booked a room with double beds, but were given a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. Found hair on the sheets on the sofa bed. Asked for extra sheets and were given 2 sheets, one with holes in it and one with a stain on it.

I wanted a room with 2 full size beds and ended up with a king size and pull out couch. The couch was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillows were skinny but thick at the same time if that is possible so it left your neck in a bind. There was not enough pillows for 5 people to sleep. The toilet had a broken handle and you had to raise it up manually […] or it would run all night. The air conditioner was really loud to the point that it would startle you when it came on. Staff couldn't locate a luggage cart. The a/c was loud and made the whole room vibrate. Room was spacious and reasonably priced but needs better upkeep. Not up to expectations of a Hyatt.

I though since it was a Hyatt that the facility would be nicer. The overall appearance of the hotel is nice but the rooms itself are old rooms that have been covered up with newer finishes. My first room had a strong mildew spell so I asked to be moved. The second room had carpet stains, old loud a/c heater unit. The shower had a bunch of hair on curtain […] and edges. We loved the room ,the location and atmosphere. Our first room smelt like sewage and had to switch rooms. Breakfast was good except they need to put out more food. They don't put out enough with the amount of guest they have. Prob. Won't stay there again but u live and learn.

Staff was great at hotel. Location is right off I 10 but very quiet and in a good area. Mall of Louisiana across the street and fabulous shopping and restaurants down the street at Perkins Row. Tried to order food and drinks on a Friday night at the bar and staff informed me they were out of some basic things on the menu. Pros: - Cheap for what you get (full suite with mini-fridge, wet bar, and sofa with ottoman). - Free basic breakfast, pool, fitness room. - Convenient location by I-10, across from the mall and close to restaurants. - Big TV with lots of inputs built into the wall. Cons: - Bad service. Asked for housekeeping and never got it. - Bathroom was tiny […] and full of mildew. Found a roach in the shower. - A/C was loud and either made the room freezing cold or muggy and humid; no in-between. - Bed was too hard. Woke up with sore shoulders from sleeping on my side. - Fitness room only had treadmills, no weights or machines. Overall: Not bad for the price, but I wouldn't stay there again mainly because of the uncomfortable bed and finicky A/C. We arrived at the hotel to check in and they tried to put me in a king room when I reserved a double. We got into our room and everything is fine but the next morning when we tried to get in our room the keys wouldn't work. I had to make several trips to the front desk and they had to let me into my room several times. The manager assured me that while […] I was out during the day they would have an engineer fix the door. When I came back several (6) hours later the door still was not fixed and the room had not been cleaned by housekeeping. The manager then decided he was going to put us in another room. When we got into the "new" room it smelled horribly like mildew and mold and I told the manager I could not stay there. He then brought us to another "new" room which smelled a little funny but overall was ok. The hallways in the entire hotel smelled awful and I believe it was from the dirty dishes left in them for much of the day and night (even after the housekeeper cleaned - they just left them there). The next day we went out for most of the day and when we returned at 5 p.m. our room had not been cleaned by the housekeepers. The bathroom in my room was not very clean, there was hair on the ceiling and the toilet seat was old and the enamel was chipping off. The manager was very nice and really was trying but for the most part, the hotel was not up to par. They do not have any vending machines, instead they have a small case by the check in desk. The case has soda's, water, juices etc. but none of the items were cold and they are much more expensive than you would pay from a vending machine. Upon check out the front desk clerk tried to charge my stay on the credit card I gave for incidentals. I had to have an extensive conversation with her and show proof of purchase from hotels.com before receiving a receipt with a $0 balance. Read more

The layout of the suite is such that one guest using the lights in the toiletry area will blind another guest who is trying to sleep. (No problem if you are traveling alone.). The room was cute, clean, and convenient...unless you had to call the front desk. Neither of the 2 phones in the room worked. The movie ordered by satellite didn't work either. We had to use our cell phone to call the front desk to tell them about the phone, something "they made note of", but didn't bother fixing. I was very impressed when I arrived at my room and since it was late, I was ready to go to bed. I had double beds in my room and decided to sleep in the bed next to the window and noticed that the bed had already been slept in. No problem, bed #2 - I felt a little pinch on my leg just thinking it was an itch. Woke up the following morning to a bed bug. […] I informed housekeeping and asked for fresh sheets and later was greeted by a supervisor, I guess, who assumed it was probably from something brought in but they did not waste any time contacting an exterminator. I booked because of location for work. I am slightly picky about hotels because I travel for work. If you are not picky, then this is a great hotel. Just a few things: room faced highway, loud in the early morning hours, fan in bathroom sounds like a train, light in bathroom very dim, couldn't see in the shower, slow drain, air conditioner didn't work […] efficiently and came on 1 minute after it stopped, very loud. Breakfast was not like other Hyatt Places - no yogurt, no peanut butter, no cream cheese for bagels, wierd brand of coffee. Breakfast was cereal, bagel, toast, jelly, red grapefruit cut up.
