What do people exspect for this price??? Go stay at the Ritz Carlton for $300/night if you want luxury. Older hotel but my room was clean and staff was very nice. Great location in south Baton Rouge. Our family was going on a cruise leaving from New Orleans the next day and we didn't want to drive into town on the day the cruise was leaving. Everyone at the Front Desk is wonderful. This property is not a resort for the honeymoon, but a clean sensible place to stop for the night or attend an LSU game weekend. "Great value and lots of conveniences in the area"
There are gas stations close by, if needed. If you need to re-connect to the I-10, you can either go back to the I-12 and connect, or make a right coming out of the motel and continue down the surface street until you connect (there's also a Cracker Barrel right there by the I-10.Genuine Expedia guest review
Unlike the other reviews, I found this hotel to be clean and well kept. The micro and refrigerator should be placed elsewhere so that there is more space in the room, it felt very congested. Otherwise room was cleaned regularly during our 3 day stay at Baton Rouge. Breakfast wasn't much to talk about but there is a McDonalds across the street and Waffle […] house next door.
