"Disappointment"
First time disappointment for this chain.. First room wasn't clean gave us another room, but the second room's shower curtain was slimy and tea bags left in coffee pot with old tea water. "Hotel in not the greatest shape"
The hotel worked, as it was a last minute reservation due to working with Hurricane Issac. When you have 2 different things in the room stating the TV channels, and the tv only goes to channel 10, it's a problem. Calling the desk, they said "then I guess that's all we have". I also work in a internet based industry, and rely on the internet at the hotel […] to do work. "Horrible experience from start to finish"
What a disaster! The room clearly had not been properly cleaned--there was a bar of used soap in the shower, half a spork behind the door, a cup of water in the fridge, and what appeared to be a mascara smear and drool spot on one of the beds' sheets. The air conditioner wasn't cooling properly and the TV remote quit working, which we were then expected […] to reprogram ourselves. Aside from the woman who was working when I arrived, the front-desk staff was incompetent, unhelfpful, and rude. We finally were given a new room, which had a whole new set of problems: the bathtub didn't drain well (so you ended up showering in half a tub of water), the coffee pot had the last guests' used coffee pouch still in it, the blanket on one bed was ripped up, and there was a dental floss pick on the floor by the other bed; the AC in that room worked better, but still wasn't great. The housekeeping staff was sent by to offer services 3 times that first morning but then weren't seen again the rest of our stay (another 3 days). Communication between staff, caused service personnell to ignore a do not disturb sign and awake me from a nap to go to desk to confirm that I had already paid for three days....your wifi caused havoc with my laptop, messed up my browser and security suite. worse wifi I have ever had, I think it was your logon service..luckily I was able to reset my […] laptop. "Baton Rouge"
The bathroom was dirty. Hair in tub and on floor. Walls Had black hand prints on them. Room had odor. Air did not work well. Children wanted to use pool but when we got downstairs, there was a couple having sex in jacuzzi by pool and a woman walking up to every male trying to earn herself a room. guess u get what you pay for but not a family establishment. "Cheap, not a value"
Room was for the money, however breakfast was skimpy with none being allowed to be taken back to the room. Staying two nights maid took towels and washcloths to be replaced, never brought back new ones. Beds never made up, room not cleaned for the second day. In addition to being given a key to a room that was already assigned to someone else, once i received the key to a vacant room, I discovered a smelly room, a dirty washcloth (obviously used by the previous occupants), and mildew on the shower curtain.
