Having stayed at every hotel/motel in the area over the last 30 years, the Comfort Inn Ironwood is hands down the best choice of lodging. The rooms were... clean, service good, breakfast edible. However, the listing in hotels.com claims refrigerators and microwaves in all rooms. Ours had neither. As we didn't need either this trip we didn't ask about them, but I will in the future. Room was clean and nice. Only negative was the tiny pillows only half the size of a standard. This made sleeping difficult.

Very pleasant stay, would come back on return trip. When going for the free breakfast, look to the right too when you enter the room so you don't miss the rest of the food!

This was convienient stop for us on a drive from Northern Minnesota down to lower Michigan. The hotel was nice, pool and hot tub great. Breakfast was also very good as it usually is at Comfort Inns. My only criticism would be that the pillows could have been better.
