This is not an expensive hotel, so don't expect the same quality you get if you're willing to pay three times as much. Beds were comfortable, pillows were fluffy. The people at the front desk were kind. This was the cheapest hotel on the list from expedia, so I went in not expecting much to begin with and I read the reviews first. The floors were dirty, and visibly hadn't been vacuumed or at least looked that way. I got the same room with the iron burn in the carpet. […] The bed frame was missing pieces, the comforters had cigarette burn holes and the tv had no remote. You do get what you pay for, and that is a comfortable night sleep. The bathroom was updated nicely though and looked very clean. The breakfast was ok. They offered coffee, milk, muffins, donuts, toast, cream cheese and bagles. Overall an ok place on a budget. Could not have been in better location! Toilet ran & bath tub leaked. Filter was not running on pool-very cloudy & lots of debris floating in it. "Had it's good & bad points"
The place was clean. The bed was very comfortable. It even has a good location. The breakfast was ok, if you want donuts. However, one thing that still stumps me is the fact that we only had one washcloth. We did have 2 towels, but when we questioned & asked for another washcloth, we were advised that the king bed room, regardless of whether there is […] one or two occupants, you only get one washcloth & 2 towels. It was okay. The reservation was made for upstairs and when we checked in they had give us a downstairs. They corrected it right away. The sink did not drain and the bath towels, wash cloths were pretty worn out and rough. The room was clean but did not have a good smell. The only problem we had here was small number of towels in room for a couple. The toiled was running all the time and the toilet seat was loose, slipping badly every time it was used. The staff was very good and the room was clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Bad Customer Service"
The front desk service was horrible - not very friendly. they tried to charge us a higher rate than i book with expedia. they were also going to charge my mom's credit card even after i had paid for it online. so i had to wait on hold with expedia customer service to verify that i had paid for it. then the frontdesk was like "oh yea we got a fax from […] them....." they also charged us an extra night just because we wanted to check in early. the room was vacant and ready and we had been driving all night, they were not very accomidating at all!! oh and BOTH ice machines were out of service which really sucked since the it was 105 and we were headed to the beach.
