"A bargain for the price"
Much cheaper than the other hotels in the area (especially the downtown ones), and only a 20 minute walk to Old Port. Everything about the hotel was satisfactory, the staff were helpful and everything was clean. Free breakfast was decent as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Never stay at a La Quinta if you have a bad back."
The breakfast was very nice. My mattress gave me no support for my tender back. I spent the better part of 3 hours and finally got up at 5:30 am to share the one washer and dryer. The staff did not supply shampoo, conditioner and kleenex for my room. When I complained about the bed, the desk clerk said "Sorry, all of our beds are the same. "Very satisfactory"

"La Quinta"
We stayed at this hotel due to price and location. It was not far from Old Portland and the room was spacious, clean, and up to date. The hotel did have a funny smell but not enough to keep us from staying there. Breakfast was what you would normally get and overall we would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Hotel was more than ok, but not excellent. Very clean and comfortable, however the beds were a little soft. The surrounding neighborhood was kind of bland, especially compared to the old port, but the price was excellent, given that by car we were very close to the port area. "Nicely Situated"
This hotel is nicely situated and pretty easy to find. The front desk staff was to the point and not so friendly, but the breakfast was pretty good with hot and cold food.
