"Not great for business but nice for Vacation"
The room is clean and my room was recently renovated and nice. The hotel location is behind a 24 hour Mcdonalds which is great if you are on vacation but not so good if it is a business trip. "Great but get your own towels"
Hotel was nice, good breakfast selection. Easy parking, for those coming in from Miami just look on the left side of the road for a Gas Station, Denny's, McDonalds and the Travelodge sign which is very high, make a U turn after the sign and you have reached...45 min from Miami Intl Airport. Only thing I was disappointed in was the state of the room […] towels, many of them were stained, I would suggest to Travelodge bleaching them properly or replacing them every few months...next time I will walk with my own towels, that's much more hygenic. Very close the keys and all shopping in the area is great. I will go back one day to this hotel, highly recommended. Oh the carpet was dirty so everytime I showered it looked like I was walking in the mud. Twice I had to get new key cards to the room as the ones I had suddenly stopped working. We note that for the most part you were happy with our services except for the towels - that they were stained. We have taken up this matter with the laundry/back of the house maids and have instructed them to be be very careful in this matter. Admittedly, sometimes some members of that department get carried away and do not want to throw away stained towels thinking that they are saving the company money. We think we know who they may be and have cautioned them in this respect. As for the carpets, we are currently addressing this and are in the process of changing the carpets to wooden floors - a fairly big capital expenditure, but it will be taken up, and hopefully, finished in the first half 2011. Please know that your feedback is extremely valuable to us as well as future travellers. Thank you for your business and we look forward to seeing you, your friends and family soon again.

I was a bit skeptical to stay in a hotel that was so inexpensive, especially with the latest bedbug thing going around. We paid a low rate and the hotel was SO great for the price. We stripped the bed clean to check for bedbugs, positively nothing. We are very conscious of the bed-bugs and we do everything in our power to make our rooms bed-bug free. We have now also have started putting a 3 sided zipper system, complete protection against alagens, dust-mites and bed bugs - simply put a protective cover on all beds (mattress and box spring). We have completed over half the number of rooms. Of course, chances are that although we may not have bed-bugs in our rooms, guests may bring them (with their baggage, for e.g) from previous stays. No excuses, but we are out to tackle this issue! We look forward to seeing you again soon.
