Place is ok basically you get what you pay for. It needs some repairs as paint was chipping away on ceiling. Bathroom needs some upgrades as well. Bed was comfortable and did have a large frig. Broken fan/light in the ceiling. Broken clinker floor. Broken window glass. Old dirty rocking chair in the room. Cigarrette burn marks on the bedspreads. Anyone looking for luxury touches should try the Hyatt or Sheraton nearby, both priced accordingly higher. While the hotel is showing its 1950’s vintage age and definitely could use a major renovation, the staff there clearly care about their guests doing a good job and could not have asked for more prompt conscientious services at a four star establishment (and per my opening comment have received far worse at many such places over the years). In particular our parking space was aggressively guarded from beachgoers. If in town for the JQ again—and it is a longtime favorite—I will certainly stay at the Sea Beach Plaza again. I wasn't thrilled with this hotel. I will shop around for a different hotel next time I'm in the area. The room was clean, but the place is OLD. It needs some serious upgrades. The ceiling fan almost fell down when we turned it on, there were cracks and holes in the shower wall and the bathroom door didn't close. The vending machine would only spit […] out coke zero, even though I was pushing the bottled water button. When I told the hotel clerk he just said "sorry, I guess we're out of water, there's a convenience store down the road". Other than that, the staff was friendly enough. Rummet vi fick var extremt litet men hotellet ligger nära stranden men inte så nära något annat tyvärr. Om man inte vill ta bilen på kvällarna får man traska en bit för att komma till restauranger.
