This hotel is good for my work location, but this hotel don't need to be so high with prices and it's so old fashion. .out dated... beds are worn out and old tvs......need flat screensGenuine Hotels.com guest review
First of all the tv was from the 80's and very outdated. Noisy place right next to train tracks that never stop operating. Definitely wont ever stay hear again waste of moneyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
When I booked my stay no one said that it was close to the train track. Trains passing all hours of the night is not good for a vacation. The hotel says free breakfast but how can donut count as breakfast I wouldn't say at another days Inn.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Not Satisfied Customer"
This was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. We had three rooms in which one was changed 3 times. The room was dirty and there was a red spots on the wall by the bed (maybe blood). My toliet was shut off and did not work properly the furniture was chipped and some of the members in my family were approched form persons selling drugs. We had old food in […] the freezer that led me to believe that it was not cleaned from the last occupants. Overall we will not be staying at anymore Days Inn EVERY. It was awful! The shuttle driver was rude, roaches in the room, filthy toilet, cigarette holes in the blankets, and cigarette smell in the non-smoking room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth it!"
I am not a picky person. Give me the basics and I'm fine. Entered a room that was left partially cleaned. Wondered whether the staff used the room to hang out. Smelled of smoke, garbage left, unvaccumed. Regretted staying here even though it was only for a night. Not a good way to start a vacation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

They do not clean the carpet - white socks were black in 5 minutes. Partiers were yelling late into the evening. Train horn wakes you regularly until 2:30 am. Road noise comes through the doors and windows. Bathroom floors were slimy. We did not use shower and had to wipe down the sink area. When we left we had to walk down a flight of stairs because […] partiers had furniture blocking the walkway. Check-in is in a separate building. You don't get what you pay for and we won't be back! "DO NOt USE DAYS INN."
The room was terible. it was a nonsmoking room as you walk in it smelled like stale smoke, the carpets were filthy, our white socks that we wore that nite was dirty from the carpet. When i looked at the bathtub there was a spider and someone elses hair in it, we would not even shower in it, there was a dirty wash cloth hanging on the curtain rod and […] another persons used shower cap also hanging there. In the coffee pot was old coffee and the grounds still in it so we couldn,t use that. The workers on duty on 4-5 where not friendly at all. the workers on4-11 and the morning of the 12th where friendly. The lady that drove the shuttle was not very friendly. Over all we will not use the days Inn again. There was kids running around our room at 3 o'clock in morning. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Don't waste your time or money!!"
Where to start? First, we made a call to see if this hotel could accommodate a tractor/trailer, since we would be staying for two nights and there was no place else to park the trailer. We were told yes, but upon showing up, were told to park at the Home Depot behind the hotel, which was not connected to the hotel, and had tow away signs everywhere. […] When cking into the room, it was filthy, the furniture was old and falling apart. The bathroom was disgusting, the toilet looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in months. The coffee pot had coffee stains from the last residents. hey advertised HBO, but had only one channel, and the some of the channels were fuzzy. Walls were paper thin, and we heard all noise outside. Had a crackhead next door to our room, who had traffic in and out all night every 20-30 minutes. Not a great area of town either. Hotel was right off the interstate and an active train track is right next to the hotel, so we heard trains 3 times within the first few hours of staying there. Kinda liked the hen running around the hotel..yes, a live hen!! This was NOT an $80 a night hotel, more like a $24.95. I feel they get most their business when people are too tired to continue driving and have no where else to go. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The pool wasn't even cleaned or open it was green. There is a train that goes by every 5 min all day and night. Bad neighborhood and fights in the parking lot at 4:30am!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Do not stay here!!!"
This hotel is horrible. The front desk staff are extremely rude and make absolutely no effort to greet guests or even acknowledge they exist. The rooms are really bad. Your feet stick to the carpet when you enter, the doors do not fit in the door frames and the bathrooms are so dirty and old.The worst thing is the location and the activities that are […] obviouslt taking place in the hotel parking lot. The hotel is on a very busy road and with the doors not fitting in the door frame there is no noise insulation. Cars were continually pulling into the parking lot all night long with loud music playing, car doors slamming and people yelling to each other. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.Also beware that the airport shuttle service has limited hours of operation, if you require transportation outside of the set times, the same shuttle driver will take you but will charge you $35 for the service.... This was on of the dirtiest and seediest hotels I have ever stayed at. Between the hooker in the parking lot and what was I'm pretty sure was a drug deal going down would have given a negative rating. Then add in that I felt dirtier after my shower and the cockroach in the sink just brings it lower. Stay away if at all possible!Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was not convenient to airport as stated. Airport shuttle was not complimentary as stated. Hotel was a motel with exterior doors in a bad neighborhood. We were woken multiple times in the night by loud guests and were worried for our safety.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Think twice before booking a room here."
We booked this hotel due to its proximity to, and promise of shuttle service to/from FLL and the cruise ship port. Unfortunately, we waited more than 1 hour for the van to arrive at the airport, and when it did, the door was broken and could only be opened from the inside by pulling on a wire. The 1st 2 key cards we received did not work and we had […] to obtain replacements. We had a 3rd floor room overlooking the road and the sounds of the traffic and the trains were so loud that we got little sleep that night. The room was suppposed to be 'non-smoking', but the smell of cigarettes and pot was overwhelming. The complimentary breakfast was what we expected and we had no issues with the food or the breakfast area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Read reviews before booking"
We were very disappointed in the hotel. We felt that by booking through hotels.com, we would have a satisfactory situation. Unfortunately, once we arrived we found very old bedding, a bathroom that was entirely uninviting, broken furniture and lamps that would not turn on. It was a non smoking room, but smelled like smoke. We talked to the desk and […] they sent someone to fix the lamps and to spray the room with a smoke neutralizer. Once the room was sprayed, it no longer smelled like smoke, but smelled like someone had been sick to their stomach. We opened the door to the room as to air out the room so we could breathe. We booked this hotel because we needed a shuttle to the airport. They did have a "free shuttle" but charged an extra fee if you needed to leave for the airport before 6:00 a.m. (Which we did!) We did find that the staff tried to be very accommodating to our needs, but there wasn't a lot they could do about the condition of the hotel. If I had a recommendation for the hotel for happier clients, it would be to update the bathrooms and the bedding. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Old noisey hotel with late shuttle"
Older hotel right next to the freeway, a busy road and train tracks that had 3 trains an hour. Not in the best part of town. The shuttle dropped off people at the boat docks before dropping us at the airport, which made us late. We stayed here because we were leaving from the keys. Next time we wake up at 4 am and drive.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Not a recommended place to stay"
Checking in I learned of a 2 dollar fee for having a safe and a phone. I said I didn't need either, but was told the fee wasn't optional. The shuttle doesn't start until 6:30 am and we had an 8 am flight so we made other arrangements. The hotel is on a very busy road and near a very busy railroad. Very noisy all night long. The room smelled a little […] musty when we entered. If you stay, pick an odd numbered room (back of the hotel) with a high number (away from the railroad track). But I would recommend another hotel. "Days Inn - 1595 W. Oakland Park; WOW!!!!!!"
I'm originally from Ft. Lauderdale, and have stayed @ Days Inn quite a few times in the past. I must say, my stay this time was beyond belief. Let me start with the hour hold I experienced when calling to confirm my reservation, the dilapidated furniture and malfunctioning TV and mini fridge that stopped working in the middle of my stay. We witnessed several drug deals, the hotel was full of p.ro.s.t.it.u.t.es, we watched 2 fights on the parking lot and we weren't even there much. The hotel is located right next to a railroad track that gets used about every 30 minutes and being next to a main road blasts its horn! The carpeting in the room was so filthy that shoes had to be worn, spots were wet. The tile floor in the bathroom was also very dirty. I threw a towel down and walked on that. In the morning after our showers I put […] the blanket, sheet and comforter on the floor to walk on so our feet wouldn't get dirty again. We had signed up for transportation to the cruiseport leaving at 11:00 AM. When we arrived at the office they were running over an hour late so we did not even leave the hotel until almost 1:00. The continental breakfast promised consised of coffee, donuts and cereal. The donuts had been frozen so they were soggy. The oj machine was out of order. The foot traffic outside our room was constant. In the early morning their employee was sweeping and shoveling debris off the sidewalk and parking areas making a lot of noise. A complaint to the manager was made, by us and several others, and we were told they were doing the best they could do. While we were waiting for our shuttle at least 3 people came in to get a room and were quoted 300% more than what we paid. WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PARTICULAR DAYS INN. "Bad Experience at Days Inn"
The shuttle service to and from the airport was the only good thing about this hotel stay. The other thing that was not bad was the night personnel. Our first night at the hotel was not pleasing. Our room had plumbing problems and wet carpet. We had to be moved to another room. A week later, our stay was not much better. Our room was not clean and the […] carpet was sticky with grime. This hotel is on a busy thoroughfare and the traffic noise is loud all night. The train service is about a block away and the trains run all night with whistles at the crossing. The hotel is not very sound proof because you can hear all the outside noises. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Staying here once is one time too many"
I really don't have anything good to say about this hotel, other than that the staff at check-in was really friendly. And that only goes so far. As other reviewers have said, the hotel is in poor condition. Items which need repair aren't really repaired so much as they are patched - ceiling texture, holes in the walls, windows and doors, etc. The room […] didn't at all feel clean, as there was hair in the sink and the tub from prior occupants. I really wanted to get out of there ASAP! Something in this condition really should command a much lower price than I paid for my stay! Our room was on the front side of the hotel, so there was lots of road noise from the busy road. That back side of the hotel may be quieter, but I think that being on the road side is a bit safer. The neighborhood isn't the best I've seen. And of course there's the issue of the train tracks just a few hundred feet away, with Amtrak trains blowing their horns at the crossing quite regularly. If you're used to peace and quiet while sleeping, this is absolutely not the place; you will get very little sleep. And then as a final slap in the face, there's a charge at check-out to cover use of the phone and the safe in the room. I didn't see mention of this on the hotels.com website and wasn't told about this at check-in. Just another example of trying to milk just a bit more cash out of guests, I guess. So in summary, definitely not a place I'd ever consider staying again. No question. There's much nicer lodging in the city that can be had for a similar price.
