My Experience was very good. Even thow it was an older property it was well maintain. There could have been more towls provided, And the door should close behind u upon entering the room. I will stay at this property again when Im in the city

First of all there is no bell service, we were told they had two carts which of course were no where to be found. The rooms were dirty, they are actively under construction, not newly renovated as advertised. The only ice machine is located in the basement, down a very dingy hall. It appeared our 2BR suite was undergoing rennovation as parts of it were upgraded and parts were not. I'm surprised they would rent it out unfinished. Both bathroom ceilings had very noticeable cracks in them. I always wonder if they just painted over damaged areas when I see that vs. fixing them. I could not open the sliding glass door to the balcony off of the Master Bedroom, which kind of defeated the purpose of having a balcony off of it, though there was another way to access it from the living room. Like I bothered him or something. I wish they would have pool towels available past 5 p.m. since the pool is open until 8. This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been in my life. The tools of the kitchen dirty. The appliances also ... mold everywhere, missing paint, cigarette stench. Worst hotel I have been to. Quality of the rooms is very superficial. Its only half renovated, and the renovated rooms are only half done as well. The more expensive signature room had an unpainted door, the faucet broken loose and the beds were donated by homeless shelters or decades old. The window curtains were from the 70s, literally, and did not […] even cover the entire window, so no privacy whatsoever. Beds were terrible so uncomfortable back ache every morning. Pillows, must have gotten them from the garbage. Had to ask for towels daily rooms cleaned, if lucky every other day. If you want to pay the top price those rooms were great. There were only a few at this hotel. Location was great, great food at Tiki bar and at Toyko Blue.

Everything needed updating years ago. Paint peeling,rusty exposed plumbing,worn out beds. Not what it appears to be on the net. Only valet parking unless you park across the street. Very noisy room doors. Have had more quality at economy lodge.

We checked in and received a two bed room, we asked for a one and they said they didnt have any other rooms left in the hotel available. We went up the room anyways only tof ind the room was noy remodeled and very dated. we called the desk because of their false advertising and they then said tey had a one bedroom available and would change us to it. […] Most of this hotel is not remodeled as advertised and depicted in their photos. We checked into the new room after taking maintainance 15 minutes just to get the door open after they accused me if not knowing how to use a key card. The room was filthy, there was an unflushed toilet with a broken toilet seat, the shower was very dirty with a damaged tub and the towel rack was hanging off the wall. Oh and the while floor smelled like rotten fish. We called and the only room they had was the first room. The only thing good about this hotel is thy agreed to cancel our reservation and Expedia refunded us back our money and we were able to get an unpublished rate last minute in a much nicer hotel for the same price! I knew going into it that this "hotel" (condo, really) was sub-par. I read the reviews. And let me tell you, the reviews are spot on. The hotel is nasty. It is filthy, old, and not like any other hotel (or even motel) that I have ever been to. But I went for one reason: the view. I booked the deluxe ocean front room, but they tried to give me a city […] view efficiency. I told them, no way, and they corrected the issue by giving me room 802. It is a non-updated room, with a connecting room. The neighbors were loud and smoked a lot of pot, which crept under the door. They kept insisting that the balcony was shared and wanted to go in through my room to use it, since their balcony door was locked / sealed. That was not going to happen. I spent the entire day and night with my balcony doors open. I ignored how broken, run down and rotten everything in the room was and just enjoyed the view and the pleasant sea breeze. I ordered Chinese food from a nearby establishment to save on dining, and they came quick and the price was very reasonable. I did not use any of the amenities at the resort, so I cannot comment on those. Bottom line: If you book this hotel, make sure you get the ocean front view with a balcony. I cannot imagine any other reason to stay here. Oh, and lower your expectations. Like a lot. You will be fine. Read more

Yes, there is some construction and noise, room a bit outdated but for the price you can't beat it. The pool, the view from the balcony, the beach just steps away, we had a great time. Special thanks to housekeeping staff for getting us everything we needed and to Annie at the Coffee Corner. Ocean Manor is our first choice.

The hotel is a little outdated and the restaurant Tokyo Blue seems empty and overpriced or just out of place. They're renovating the property but the upgrades look cheap and the rooms are ok... They make u pay for valet!!!!!!! They also charge a convienence fee so whatever u book your room for.... Just make sure u add $40 to that. After adding $40 to what I paid..... I could stayed in the Hilton!!!!!!
