"Disappointed, especially for the price"
The carpets and floors were so dirty that the bottoms of the kids socks were filthy after 2 hours in the room. The room was extremely dated, BADLY in need of maintenance, updating, and cleaning. The houskeeping staff did an OK job considering what they had to work with. The parking spots, if you could find one, were mostly half in the dirt. Upon arriving at the property (I checked in at 11:00 PM), my room wasn't ready and it looked like it was in the middle of maintenance situation. When I went to the front desk I was assigned to another room which smelled very musty. "Dump of a hotel"
The place was a dump not a resort. They did not offer any resort amenities. The tv, tv remote, refrigerator, & phone did not work in the 1st room they provided. Requested a room change. They changed the room to a floor with parties going on in multiple rooms. Police were on the premises arresting people all around our floor. Didn't get to bed until […] 4 am due to all the noise. The pictures provided of the hotel were pictures of where check in was with a restaurant. What the pictures didn't show was that all the rooms were across the street. The only thing good about this hotel is the Location! The upkeep of hotel is awful, the bed was rock hard and the sheets had stains on them. I am glad I spent very little time in the room. It's an older hotel and the room aren't anything to write home about, but the location on the ICW and right next to the water taxi stand are great! The tiki bar on the water is the happening spot on Fort lauderdale Bch. "Slechtste hotel tijdens 8,5 week reizen"
Wij kwamen 20 minuten voor de incheck-tijd aan. De kamer was nog niet klaar en we konden een ander type kamer krijgen of wachten. Een half uur later de sleutel gekregen en naar de kamer gereden (hotel bestaat uit twee locaties), hier aangekomen bleek dat er nog werd schoongemaakt. Uiteindelijk een kamer gekregen op de hoofdlocatie, op de vloer van de […] badkamer lagen meer dan 10 haren en het toilet spoelde niet goed door. De man bij de receptie was eerst gemaakt vriendelijk en arrogant, later onvriendelijk. Ik maak er niet meer woorden aan vuil, maar dit was de slechtste ervaring tijdens een reis van 8,5 week.
