Stayed in many Travelodge's before but this was something out of a Hitchcock movie. The three rooms next to ours was burned down, our room smelled like it was on fire. The room was disgusting hair everywhere. Bathroom was a disgrace stained towels black long hair all over. The bed linens were stained, we slept in our clothes. Unfriendly service, room run down, filthy curtains with stains, cracked tiles, cheap paint on walls with missed spots, bed covers with cigarette burns and holes, room smelled like dirty socks. There was hair or weave on towels, on the bed and on the pillows, also the pillow case wasn't clean. I bought towels to use and covered the pillows with a bath towels to sleep. The door frame looked like it was hit by police squard. It's a good thing, it was a one night stay.

This location was the most disgusting, filthy and unprofessionally run of any hotel, motel or hostel I have ever stayed in. Our room had sticky grossness all over the tv, microwave and refridgerator. The lamp and phone looked like they were splattered with blood, the bathroom was simultaneously covered in slippery soap and filth. We asked to be moved, […] but they couldn't move us until the morning (!) so we put some clothes on the bed to sleep on, instead of the sheets and toughed it out for the night. The next day, they moved us into another room, and we were certain that after that we were sure to get a clean room. Oh, but of course not. Our room, aside from having sticky surfaces, visible dirt on, well, everything, also had PUBIC HAIRS all over the sink and bathroom counter. Just vomitocious. I called down to the front desk (this phone was not covered in blood...) but the clerk was unable to help us in any way. He said he could take a note of it and we could talk to the manager in the morning. We went down to the front desk and I calmly but firmly told the owner/manager that it was not OK with us, the conditions of the rooms we were in, and that we would like them to help make it better. She told me that my only recourse would have been to check out the previous night (at 11 pm, coming back from a family wedding) and that I had a "non-refundable reservation" I don't know what having a non-refundable reservation has to do with the hotel's deplorable condition or the management's negligence and rudeness. I called corporate and they were able to help me some, and while I will certainly stay at OTHER Travelodges in the future, I warn you against this location at ALL COSTS. No other word will do, it is a cesspool. Read more

When I look for a place to stay based on absolute cheapest price, my expectations are pretty low. But this was worse than I expected. Let's start with maintenance. The light switch by the door apparently isn't attached to anything. The first light I tried to turn on wouldn't. The bulb was lose, which I later discovered was the only way to turn it off. […] The second light I tried to turn on also did nothing, this one just turned out to be unplugged. In the bathroom the floor was cracked in several places and the toilet paper holder was completely rusted out and missing its bar. Then we come to cleanliness. I have almost no complaints about the regular daily cleaning. Nothing except the screen on the back of the hairdryer showed any signs of dust or grime. The carpet however is another story. It looked so grody that I didn't even thing of going barefoot. When I looked at the state of the socks I wore to bed and then in the morning while getting dressed, I was really glad I had made that call! Read more

Do not go anywhere near this property. It is the most disgustingly dirty hotel we have ever stayed in. Every metal surface was rusted, the A/C unit was in pieces. The carpet was so dirty that when you stepped off of it onto the bathroom floor, you left footprints... There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom but there were damp patches all over it. […] The paint work was filthy, and the door was full of various holes where different hardware had been removed. The "picture frames" were all broken. There were tenants doing their laundry on the second floor landing, and hanging it out over the railings!!! We arrived here on the 31st of December around 5pm, when we arrived in our room the air conditioner wasn't working, the toilet was clogged and the sheets and towels were filthy! I spoke with the manager and he told me that he was only the night manager and there was nothing that could be done until 9am. The next morning I found one of the housekeepers […] outside and asked her for new towels, which they had ran out of, and didn't end up getting any. Later on that afternoon I spoke with another manager and she offered to move us to another room. We moved to another room just down the hall, it was a little larger, but same as the first one, the only difference was that in this room the bathtub is also clogged, just great! I spoke with the manager again and she said nothing could be done and gave us a plunger to deal with it! Now we have been here for 5 days and haven't had any type of room service, no new towels, the bed sheets haven't been changed, garbage hasn't been taken out, nothing at all! We had to go over to the store and purchase towels to avoid using the filth that we are provided with. I will never recommend anyone to stay at this property, even my worst enemy. I would've be better off sleeping in my car! I personally believe that a refund of some sort should be issued to me, considering I am visiting Florida for a relaxing vacation and have only been disgusted with this property so far. Read more

Äusserlich macht es den Eindruck eines normalen Hotels. Bis man in den Fahrstuhl zur ersten Etage steigt, bei der Benutzung dessen wird einem angst und bange - aber er hat funktioniert. Das Travelodge ist mehr als heruntergekommen, die Zimmerausstattung ist alt und defekt. Der Teppichboden löst sich durch die Feuchtigkeit und den Dreck seitlich auf. Auf dem Kopfkissen fanden wir zehn (10!!) Menschenhaare. Ob diese die Putzfrau beim Beziehen verloren hat, wagen wir zu bezweifeln. Der Verdacht lag nahe, dass dieses Bett gar nicht bezogen […] wurde. Wir haben Wäsche aus der Rezeption nachgeholt und alles mit unseren Sachen ausgelegt. Ein Handtuch im Bad wurde vergessen zu wechseln, es war verdreckt (zum Teil mit Sand!!) und befand sich zusammen mit den sauberen Handtüchern im Stapel. Auf die Stühle am Pool konnte man sich nicht setzen, weil eine millimeter-dicke Dreckkruste sich in die Rillen gesetzt hatte. Telefon war defekt, Internet ging trotz Nachfrage nicht.
