The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina is located directly on the Intracoastal Waterway in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The resort is adjacent to the Port Everglades cruise port and one block from the Broward County Convention Center. The Fort Lauderdale airport is 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) away.

On-site fine dining is offered at the China Grill, serving international cuisine for breakfast and dinner. The "G" restaurant serves American cuisine for lunch and dinner. "Just a one night stay"
Overall I was pleased with the service and quick check in/check out. Valet service was twenty-five dollars. The small bar on the first floor that was serving food until 1am ran out of take out containers and I had to carry two large plates and a bag with hot Coca Cola cans up to the room. "Grande View Room is not what you think"
I recently stayed at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale. I come to S.FL twice a year to visit family and recently started taking my grandparents to stay near ocean. We have stayed here one other time and the room was amazing, excellent condition, great view of the water way, needless to say my family loved it. "Parking, location of room"
We were extremely disappointed with having to pay for parking. $20 per night, so an extra $80 to stay there!! Not happy at all. This should have been disclosed up front by someone, whether by Hilton and/or by Hotels.com. Hotel was ok, however our room was about a half mile from the lobby which was far from convenient. Looked like the room had been renovated […] by a below average contractor (bathroom granite counter on top of MDF which was rotting/buckling, corrosion on bath fixtures, etc). I contacted the hotel yesterday to let them know that I was not happy about the parking fees and the woman I spoke with was of no assistance. I think the hotel has seen better days. It was bustling when I checked in. The hotel staff, i.e. bellmen and desk clerks were helpful and courteous. The first room I was sent to had not been cleaned. "Decent stay for your price."
We stayed in this hotel for a week, during our vacation to FL in Jan 2013. The overall experience was pleasant, with a few gotchas. First, a parking fee of $21/day is charged and there is no way around that. There is no cheap parking around the hotel. So, if you stay here, you pay for the parking, above the cost of your stay. Wi-Fi is available, not […] free. It costs you $12.95 per day. You get 1 day of complementary internet access, and that's it. You have to pay up for the 2nd day onwards. Check-in experience was mixed. The front desk lady was nice and professional, but, seemed to care less about my queries. All she said was that as I booked my stay thru expedia, I have to contact them with any questions. Also, I didn't get HHonors points for my stay as I booked thru expedia, and not directly with them. She gave us a room with 2 double beds, and when I asked to change that as it is only me and my wife (and we weren't fighting at that time, hence no need for 2 beds, lol) she changed the room, but again, told me that expedia reserved that room with 2 beds for me, and that I should have checked with expedia what room I was getting. She didn't make it a big deal, but, was letting me know that another Hilton might not honor my request, as the change of rooms is subject to availability. Apart from these minor things, the stay was pleasant. You have to know what you are signing up for, when you book thru expedia. I can't complain about my stay. Hope this review helps someone. My husband and I stayed two nights at this hotel after our cruise. Since we disembarked from the ship in the morning, I was thinking that we will be able to checked-in, in the afternoon. The bathroom was ok, but there were not much counter space and no hooks to hang towels. Towels were folded in an open shelf under the sink. The location was ideal for those going on or after a cruise. It was a short drive from Port Everglades and to the airport. I am not sure why this is a 4 star hotel. The carpets and walls were filthy. Don't let the lobby fool you. Room services and onsite restaurant prices were very steap compared to surrounding 4 star hotels. We stayed at the Rennaissance a few days too and I would definitely recommend it over the Hilton.
