Overworked service staff, no towels by pool when arrived, rude staff for breakfast, problem with vale hailing a cab for concert-late, furnishings in room-cigarette burns, furniture worn, had to contact house keeping for towels in the 2 bedroom suite. No signs for ice on the 4th floor, bar closed and then when serviced-no training with the particular […] staff due to a party outside. Lunch food was good and breakfast buffet. Will never return. "Don't go there."
The front desk was ok but the clean up staff was the worst. I met dirty dashes in the room when we got ther. Even after we told the front dest the next morning nobody cleaned it. I had to do it my self. The halls were really dirty. The staff took the trash bags and never replaced them. Overall this was just a dreadful experance.Genuine Expedia guest review

missed the first day and night due to airline. we stayaed on the top floor and had leaks everytime it rained . the hotel was well aware that mold and mildew were up above the drop ceiling,,,buckets full of water. Perhaps the pictures will show it best. never was offered a new room but had two workers on two different occasions visit to vacumm the rug.the […] ceiling almost caved in. also the filter for the a/c was black and looked as if it had never been changed. this was an upgraded room. have videos of room condition. not good at all. "Gallery One - A Great Suites Hotel......maybe not."
This is indeed a hotel with great location, it's close to the beach and a great view from the room. The only thing we find disappointing was the staff service, as we find several flaws. After we check-in, the receptionist presents my party, coupons for free breakfast the entire stays. The night before our checkout, we ordered a to-go breakfast before […] we check-out because of our early flight. Their first response to us was that the kitchen is not open yet. But because we have coupon for these breakfast, then they said they will make one for us. Finally, when we received the to-go pack, it was somewhat less than what we expect: 4 mini muffin, 1 croissant, and 1 bagel without any drink whatsoever. all of these are served for 2 people/room. Overall, I was surprised to find 3 1/2 star hotel with these kinds of service. I would recommend this place to other tourist who want to find a nice place to sleep without any trouble with the service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Conveniently located adjacent to the galeria mall."
I am disappointed and upset that Hilton chooses to give no HHonors points on any stays booked through Expedia. I am a longtime HHonors member and Hilton has been my hotel of choice for many years. However, that is about to change if their current policy continues. The Doubletree Hotel was great, but the entire experience was a negative because of this […] policy. "Dirty bedrooms and poor breakfast"
I accidently dropped my warm Doubletree chocolate chip cookie on the floor of the sitting room just after we arrived, and I picked it up covered in dust and hairs. Seems like the floor hadn't been vacuumed for quite a while. We also had the delight of someone else's pubic hairs stuck to the wall of our shower. The cleaning staff all were chatting in […] a little huddle every time we walked past. Less chat and more cleaning would help. We walked into the breakfast room and walked out again. Every table except one was covered in dirty plates. (Both waitresses were in the kitchen also having a chat). We wanted a Continental breakfast and all that was offered was a very tired looking croissant and some boxes of cereal. The cafe over the road form the hotel (Euro Bread and Cafe) is a much much better bet if you're staying there, and half the cost. On the plus side, the hotel is very close to Galleria shopping mall, right next to the riverbus stop and has a pretty pool. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
