Tucked between the beach and the Intracoastal Waterway, the Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach is one mile from downtown three blocks from the shopping, dining and nightlife of Beach Place. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is five miles from the property.
Hotel Features.
Rising 12 stories above the beach, the Courtyard features a white and turquoise-trimmed façade. An island-like atmosphere permeates this property. Blossoming bushes festoon the second-floor pool deck and bright public spaces such as the lobby boast large windows and potted palms. Leisure guests will revel in the outdoor, umbrella-flanked pool area and its accompanying tiki bar. Guests can enjoy tropical drinks here while overlooking the ocean. "Solid choice - but no real business center"
I stayed here 2 nights on business. Staff was friendly and accomodating. The hotel was clean and everything worked fine. The outdoor patio/bar was also rather nice, and the location is excellent. My main complaint is the "business center" - do not be fooled! There are 3 computers in an alcove that have EXTREMELY slow internet connections and seem to […] be constantly having technical problems. The printer worked, but barely. Hotel was great. Had one problem once we arrived I checked in and went to my room which was two queens size beds and I paid for one king size was very upset that I wasn't notified. I called down to the front desk to see what happen to my room that was book when I was told that there was some overstays-which meant there were guest that stayed more nights […] than they booked for so my room was taken.. I was furious that I had not been notified and that my husband and I had to sleep in a small queens size bed. I called Expedia to complain and after I was done we received free breakfast for our stay half off for parking and we were moved to a king size suite for the rest of our stay.. Our Maintenance Engineers have already been notified as to the problems with the water in your room. Parking can be a premium around the beach area and some of our guests choose to pay parking fees on the streets or in a less expensive surface lot. However most enjoy the valet service and monitoring that our service provides. We hope to be able to welcome you back again to the Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach.

The view is beautful from all sides. Restaurants and shops are within a quick walking distance. The staff is very friendly and willing to help at all times. Un sérieux probleme au niveau du respect des clients. Nous avions réserver 3 nuits et tout était payé d'avance. Nous avons pris soins d'aviser l'hotel le jour même de notre départ, que notre avion arriverait apres minuit. Malgré cela, nous avons eu la désagréable surprise une fois arrivé à l'hotel...de constater qu'ils avaient donnés notre chambre DÉJÀ […] PAYÉE à d'autres clients et que l'hotel était complet !!! Alors nous avons dû à 1h du matin, nous rendre dans un autre marriott pour la nuit, ensuite...quitter à 11h du matin et attendre avant de pouvoir avoir accès a notre chambre déja payée!!!!!!!!! Ok nous avons eu droit a 2 déjeuners ...apres s'etre plaint à la direction...mais honnêtement, ça ne suffit pas a effacer la déception.
