As we approached the motel, I was very uneasy! The neighborhood is in need of good maintenance. The exterior of the motel is still ungoing a much needed... face lift!! I understand that the present owners are NEW and are doing their best to bring things back to good repair. I was very surprised when I opened the door and viewed the room. VERY clean and comfortable. The ease to and from the car was another deciding factor. So, we decided to give them a chance on their new venture and stay. We were very comfortble and the management was great!! Great! Convienently located to local taverns, restaurants and entertainment. Pool is large with very little shade to relax in. I stay here whenever I`m in town for business or pleasure.

The outside of the hotel looks very shady but the inside is great. The room was very clean and nice. The location is not to far from the lake, food and shopping areas. The only downside I have was the pillows were too soft and they feel like you werent sleeping with one at all. Other then that I would diffently recommened this hotel. If you want to secure your boat there is a gated yard out back of the hotel which is locked at night. Get the key issued to you when you check in. It was overall okay the pool is out for repairs looks like they have a ways to go to finish it. But overall it was a bit high priced. Would be better at a half bill mark. Defineitely not a resort. :)
