"Okay for Tuscaloosa"
Compared to other hotels in Tuscaloosa, this Wingate is nicer. Other hotels "at this level" in the area are pretty run down and outdated but this hotel is updated and clean. However, they say they're a non-smoking hotel but they're really not. There are large ashtrays on either side of the front door so there's no way to avoid it. "Nice surprise"
Great hotel. Better than what I expected. Very friendly desk attendant Debbie. The bathroom was clean. Great Breakfast. "Hotel Pool"

"Half Way There"
My family stayed at the Wingate in Tuscaloosa while on our way to Gatlinburg, TN. It was the half way mark for us. The hotel was very clean and the beds were very, very comfortable.
