While normally beautiful grounds, one of the 3 connected pools ( closest to the hotel main building) was undergoing MAJOR renovation. Ugly, noisy work... right outside our balcony. Resort fee was not included in the price I had already paid, which was too much for the construction going on and normal off season price. The furniture in the living area of the condo was so old it hurt your back to sit on the couch or the chair! Common problem in these condos, owners just leave furniture in for years and years and they get broken down cushions. The good part? The kitchen is well stocked to cook . Utensils, glassware, blender- check! Almost no one on the beach, weather was warm not stifling hot. We could thoroughly enjoy being on the beach. Port Aransas Resort on the Beach - Condos
This 25 acre resort in Port Aransas is situated on Mustang Island’s beach front and has one, two, and three bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a balcony or patio which overlooks either the pool, the palm trees, and the gulf or the gulf alone. This resort is located just 7 miles from Port Aransas and a 35 minute drive from Corpus Christi and the airport.

Beach, Biggest Pool in Texas, Fun Activities
The 17 miles of beach that line the resort are accessed by taking a short stroll down our 100 yard boardwalk. With waterfalls, hot tubs, a splash pool, a waterslide, palm trees, and bird calls, our four lagoon pools combine to make the largest pool in Texas! The resort also offers a range of fun activities including yoga, Zumba, tennis, volleyball, water polo, water aerobics and eco walks.

Condos with Patios offer View of Gulf or Pool
This Port Aransas resort has 210 individually decorated condos. Every condo has a balcony patio with views of the gulf or the pool with the gulf in the distance. All condos come with TVs in each bedroom and in the main living area with its flow through kitchen. The main living areas also have large picture windows which look out on to the balcony and over the pool or the gulf. Complimentary wired internet is available in all condos.

Restaurant and Bar 361, our on-site dining location, is open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our famous Champagne Brunch is also served here on Sundays. Our eclectic American menu includes children’s options.
The Bistro is available for coffee and snacks; as well as for a selection of lighter breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
The Cabana Bar and Grill is open during the summer months. At the swim-up Grill you can order from a wide range of grilled foods, including hotdogs and burgers. From the swim-up Bar you can order from a large selection of tropical drinks, cool beers and fun cocktails.

Recreation

This Port Aransas resort offers yoga, Zumba, tennis courts, volleyball, water polo, and water aerobics classes. Free eco and nature walks, which include bird watching, are also available. Kiteboarding, fishing, and duck hunting classes can be arranged. Surfing lessons with the option to rent surf boards are also available during the summer through a number of surfing camps.

The forecast was 79 degrees and sunny, it turned out to be 65 degrees and cloudy, but the room and the hot tubs made up for the dreary conditions. We had a one bedroom, which is perfect for two people. I understand that they are upgrading their televisions, the room we had had an old analog tv which was disappointing given the weather.

They had a red tide going on at the time - dead fish on the beach, so I paid for a resort on the beach without the beach - bad business. I could have stayed at another hotel for have the price but I wanted to stay on the beach. Not happy about that.
