Consdiering the price I got on the room, I think I had an exceptional stay at the Days Inn. Building is old but the room I had was not outdated. Very clean and comfortable. Had a wonderful 7 night stay. Always clean and had plenty of towels. When we first arrived and checked in, I was greeted with a huge smile and welcoming voice. "Pet friendly or not??? An Irritating mix up"
Chose hotel on this site because it was pet friendly with only a $10 per day fee. Once reserved the email confirmation says it does not allow pets and that reservation in non-refundable so I call Days Inn directly and they say they will allow the dogs with a $10 dollar fee and will make a note of it in the computer. I figure all is good then. We check […] into the hotel just fine, though the pets were never brought up but I figured it was supposed to be in the notes on their computer so we get put into a building that says no pet allowed, but stay in our room anyway thinking they must have made an exception just to fill the room. 2 night go by and we get a call saying that they 'found out' we have dogs and they are going to charge a 15.99 fee per night plus tax and acted like we snuck the dogs in and it was our fault that they put us in the no dog building. We drove so our main goal was looking for a practical place to stay and not have to pay parking fees to use the garage of the hotel we were staying. Would recommend to others if they are looking for a very inexpensive stay. The room is very small that the door hits the foot of the bed when you open and close. The fixtures need updating but the tv worked […] fine and showed a very clear picture for being so old. Didn't like my room being located in the swimming pool area. Even tho it was 60 degrees, barely, there were still people out swimming and keeping up a lil noise. Good value. Rooms were not modern, but clean. Not handicap accessible, lots of stairs. Be ready for loud cleaning carts thundering past your room. We struggled to get the room door open because it was partially blocked by the corner of the mattress. You may want to bring your own hair dryer. "A Stay in the South Bay from a local"
My family of five needs a place to stay for several days while my home was being repainted. Being a local, I knew that the Day's Inn location was excellent, being a couple miles from shopping, the beach, and top hiking locations in PV, plus a safe neighborhood to walk at night. The price was low for the neighborhood, even including the fact that it […] was off-season and mid-week. The low price comes from the fact that the hotel was probably built in the late 60's/early 70's like much of the South Bay and the rooms styles and items like tiles show lots of wear. The hotel looks to have been built in phases, so the type of room and its condition may vary. My room was a two room suite created by knocking down a wall between two small rooms and replacing one bathroom with a basic kitchen, very comfortable for my family. A single room by itself would have been smallish. Though the rooms were old, they have been modernized where they can, with good cable choices and WiFi and a breakfast room with a good selection for a budget hotel. The staff did a fine job, though they sometimes let the phone ring too long. Did not try the outdoor pool as it was in October and in the South Bay it always is cool at night. Excelente ubicación a unos cuantos pasos a pie de Ross dress for less, a pasos de Farmacias como Wallgreens y cvs, hay restaurantes de comida rapidas y gasolineras en cada esquina. Y está a menos de 15 minutos del aeropuerto Internacional. Su area es bastante segura y relativamente cerca de santa monica y el centro de los angeles. Me volvería a hospedar […] en mi proximo viaje a la ciudad de los angeles. El unico inconveniente es que los estacionamientos estan distantes de las primeras habitaciones del area de la piscina, ya que los tienen unicamente reservados para los clientes externos que vienen al restaurante del hotel.
