Huntsville Hotel & Suites

It was like staying in an apartment. It had a full kitchen with full fridge, stove, dishwasher and sink. It also had a couch and a fireplace and a nice size bathroom. The grounds had received some award for being well kept. The office was nicely maintained with a nice size pool. It could've been a little cleaner. (there was a few spots on the floor, […] but I did stay in the smoking room), but it wasn't too bad. I was pleasantly surprised with the place. The motel is converted from an apartment complex and as such makes the rooms VERY large. Full kitchen, separate bath/dressing room area, closet space, living room, bed room. Very nice. It's an older facility and the age is showing with some rotted wood trim etc. This is the first motel I've ever stayed in that did not make the bed, vacuum, etc. on a […] daily basis. You could have the service for $25/day. They had trash pick up and linen swap only. I can make my own bed, and I'm not a messy person, but after 3 days, it would have been nice to have the room vacuumed and clean sheets. So glad I found this place! Such a nice stay for the price. These are apartments that were converted into apartments, so we had lots of room. Friendly staff, plus a wonderful hot breakfast too! Definitely staying here again!!!

This hotel is more like an one-bedroom apt. The community is nice. The propert is well-maintained. I live in hotels: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Colorado, Wyoming, etc, and this is as good a VALUE as I have ever enjoyed.

My biggest issue was that there was 3 of us and the hotel only supplied enough towels and wash cloths for 2. I have a bad knee and ask for something on the bottom, they were very accomadating. When we check out the lady at the desk was very nice. She ask about our stay and invited us back. This is a good value place to stay. The rooms are constructed in separate pods rather than a typical unitized hotel configuration. The property looks more like an apartment complex than a hotel/motel. Location, though not in an upscale area, is okay. When I reserved the hotel I expected a mediocre place since the price was so low. It was on sale but even the regular rate is a bargain. Then I got there and and saw how nice it was - fireplace, kitchen, comfortable bed and sofa, etc - and started to try and see what was wrong with it for it to be so cheap. The only thing […] I didn't like was the entrance to the room was at the very back of the property, between some bushes with no light, and really close to the building next door. Creepy. But I couldn't have been more pleased with the room. I at first thought I had arrived at an apartment complex, since they rooms are in buildings like apartment buildings. It's different but makes it a little more homey and offers less potential for noisy neighbors. It also took me awhile to find the office to check in. It's not marked at all. We stayed here for the annual TNBA bowling tournament. The stay was great. Setup was awesome and staff very accomodating to our needs. Only complaint was how the cleaning lady would knock and already start opening the door. Once addressed with front, it was fixed. Overall, if I'm ever in huntsvile again, I will def book here. :)

The say was a great one. The all the staff people were very polite and friendly. The only thing that I feel needs attention to would be the towels and wash cloths. The color from the white has faded out.. This make the towels and wash cloth look as if they are dirty. I will stay again and will be bring some more people in January.

I will choose this hotel if I ever go and visit Huntsville again, the only thing have to change is housekeeping need to knock before they enter and make sure its ok for them to enter!!!! Otherwise great hotel!!!!
