"Loud guests at night."

"pet unfreindly"
i called about the pet policy for the hotel and was told pets were welcome with no charge. when i checked in there was a $50.00 non-refundable pet charge. the bathroom counter was small , there was no continental breakfast and the room was pricey. The hotel was great. It was close to the places that we needed to be and the service was great. They even let us check in a little early. One thing that was somewhat negative was that the pool chlorine seemed to be a bit on the high side. all was great however i booked this room several weeks in advance. when we arrived, we discovered we had a handicapped room. not a problem but the shower. my husband is 6 ft and we had a difficult time bathing. we tried to change rooms but were told they were sold out. when i booked the room i was confirmed with a regular room NOT a handicapped room. Nice renovations. Have stayed here before, including as renovations were being done. That was not particularly enjoyable, with all the commotion going on. Now that they're done, very nice. I don't like the fact that the restaurant next door shares the parking lot. Patrons park right in front of the hotel, causing hotel guests to park away from the building. Outstanding comfort and quiet. The room was arranged very well - different from most rooms I have stayed in. Most rooms put the bed against the wall opposite the bed in the other room. "Pleasantly surprised"
When I arrived at the hotel I was not very excited to see that it was undergoing a remodel. The front entrance and common area was in disarray but the staff was extremely helpful and my newly remodeled room was excellent. The hotel is in the midst of rennovation, but we were given a newly refurbished room and it was great. Clean and very nice. "check for hidden expenses if bringing pets"
While the hotel says it is pet friendly, they did not disclose the 50.00 per room charge to have your pets there until I checked in. The front desk staff was pleasant when I explained that I had not been told of an additional fee and agreed to charge me only 50.00 for the pets, that was half of what it would have been because I had two rooms booked […] and the pets would be going into each. Very disappointed. We didn't arrive until late in the evening and were welcomed into a smoky room and a bucket catching water from a leaky ceiling in the hallway. Very tacky. We asked and received another room which was less smoky but right next to an elevator. Staffs should be re-trained. They looked very official and icy. When I ask, they just reply in a unfriendly manner. Don't expect a smile. Staffs spoils a good name hotel. Bad experience. When I made some local calls, they put the tab under the door. I don't run away. They made some additional money pending on your debt card too. Again bad. Hotel business […] should respct customers. "Should have stayed at the Hilton"

No worries here,it is clean. It is just in need of an update. Old television, walking down the hall it feels like a basic hotel versus a nicer Courtyard that I have stayed in the past. Convenient location, staff is friendly enough. I was above the utility/garbage truck area which was not fun at 5:30 in the morning, but I am sure I could have requested […] something different once I looked out the window.
