"Historic hotel right in the midst of a state park"
I had to go to Saratoga Springs for a conference and decided to stay here when the hosting hotel did not have any rooms left. I was glad to be able to get a room here! The surrounding landscape was gorgeous and the hotel had a historic feel which I love. Also, the gentleman was extremely helpful since I had a bunch of questions for him. The room was […] clean and well kept. The only issues i had were the iron and ironing board were in pretty bad condition and their fitness center has pretty old equipment. "Old and stale"
This hotel may have been very nice a long time ago but now it's old and stale. We were supposed to get a room with two queen beds and a pull-out couch but only got one queen and the couch and it was like sleeping on a cot. This is a historic hotel. My room was just renovated, and was wonderful. Helpful, friendly people, beautiful common rooms.
